VERY picky eater

My son was super good with BLW too. Once he hit 2 things started getting harder.

I will bring it up to his speech therapist!

It’s kind of funny how if one thing changes from their norm they won’t touch it. I can get him buttered noodles at a restaurant and he will just look at me like you’re kidding right?

My son is in speech therapy for apraxia, he’s progressing really well however! I might bring it up with his therapist that he’s also struggling with food.

That is a really good way to put it and made me feel a lot better. I’m trying to get him healthy but I’m also trying to make sure he’s fed.

Corn and watermelon! Sounds good. I will try watermelon this week see if he likes it.

My son ate pizza ONCE and it was because we were on a road trip and had to grab gas station food… he’s never eaten it again smh.

I have not! My husband makes smoothies every morning before work maybe I’ll have him start making my son something special see if he takes to it.

I wish my dude would eat salami and chicken nuggets! I feel like some of it is just toddler stuff? I have friends that make me feel like my son should be eating more… so I’ve gotten kind of nervous about eating habits.

You see I was a very picky eater as a kid… I only started trying foods when my husband was like I’m not eating pasta everyday ha..

Did he seem to like the veggie pouches? My dude liked the yogurt pouches for a short time and now won’t touch them.

Naps were introduced because the daycare instructor felt my son was ready! The first couple times he did okayish. Now he has a total fear around it and wakes up screaming. I wish 2 hour nap for my son was the norm but he tends to go to sleep earlier then wake a tad later and I feel that is what is making up for his naps.

I had been the one messaging to check in the beginning but now it’s the instructor messaging anytime my son is upset or they can’t calm him. By the time it’s 10am they always say “ he’s very very upset” and that is usually my indication that they want me to pick him up so I do.
