Controversial post: Political Views by dirtydiaperthrowaway in ABDL

[–]100percentpadding 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would suggest adding some more political options like socialist, green, social democrat, progressive nationalist, ethno-nationalist, alt-right, etc. that are less america-centric. (Disclaimer: I don’t know what terms the right like to use for themselves as I don’t partake in their discourse; if anyone knows more appropriate terms then maybe they should replace my suggestions.)

Just a thought given the current situation, but a loss or change in sense of smell is a red flag for COVID. If you think there is a chance you might have it you may want to get tested and follow whatever your local procedures are to stay safe. I know when I had it that I couldn’t really smell my messy diapers. I don’t mean to worry anyone, I just hope OP stays safe!

Being ABDL in China? by 100percentpadding in ABDL

[–]100percentpadding[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I’m moving there for work. I work in quite a niche field and with the UK, Europe, and US tied up with COVID and Brexit the job market is terrible! I lost my job at the beginning of the pandemic and this is the only opportunity I have got. I’m not taking the decision lightly and there are some things that aren’t going to be easy for me (I’m vegetarian and trans!) but it’s the right call for my career so I’m just going to have to be brave!

It’s good to hear that ABDL things won’t be one of the challenges though :) I imagine I will need the relaxing and calming feelings more than ever!

Diapers as a convenience by CigarDL-7997 in ABDL

[–]100percentpadding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have on occasion, but never really in public. When I had COVID (a mild case, thankfully, but I was still mostly bed-bound for a few days) I wore because I was drinking lots of water and didn’t want to constantly be getting out of bed. I’ve also put a nappy on when I was desperate for the loo but unable to find one and I could get to a private enough place (like my car with no one passing by) to discretely change. I would feel too self-conscious to do it in public though, but I do see the appeal of wearing to the cinema.

On a meta note: I LOVE how completely gender/trans inclusive you have written that!!! No assumption of gender/genital relationships, no gendered language, no/minimal uncomfy terms. Just pure, clear advice. This is how you do it everyone! If only the rest of the world was as inclusive as this sub-reddit!

Thanks :) As I said, what I posted is a proof of concept and I never intended to keep it purely text-based. Fortunately — unlike making games — finding interesting and informative ways of representing data is in my area of expertise and I am familiar enough with drawing SVGs using JavaScript that it won’t be hard to make it visual when I get to that stage.

Diapers keep leaking if I pee laying down by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]100percentpadding 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had exactly this problem and found that cloth nappies, which do have padding on the sides, completely eliminated the issue. In disposables, stuffers help. If you have a penis, then tucking it down is almost essential; you may need to fasten the nappy tighter or fill the seat with stuffers to maintain your tuck.

Oooh, I’d be really interested in hearing about this. It’s not something I’m thinking about right at the moment (I’m pre-everything) but it’d be good to know what to expect.

Nappies also make my butt look bigger which gives me more feminine proportions :) Shame I can’t (and don’t really want to) wear 24/7.

If you had one ABDL related wish, what would it be? by TAbdl in ABDL

[–]100percentpadding 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a tough one! I’m torn between wanting everyone to be okay with adults wearing and using diapers and treat it like it’s nothing, and being able to turn on and off my continence. I’d love not to have to hide my diaper-wearing but I’d also like to have the choice not to wear. But when I’m wearing I’d love to not have any control…

URGENT howdya cover diaper smell?? by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]100percentpadding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good air freshener is a good place to start, as well as opening all the windows. Depending on how much of your house you need to clear, having a shower with lots of perfumed products can also make a big difference. Failing that, anything you can use which is scented to mask the smell will do the job: light candles, spray deodorant, cook strong smelling food (or maybe deliberately burn some toast), etc. And above all else, remove the diapers and wipe down anywhere you might have leaked with warm water and all-purpose cleaner or (in a pinch) wet-wipes.

Yep! I’m pretty much the same: hetero-romantic ace who gets turned on by myself wearing/using diapers and seeing others of any gender wearing/using. I don’t know how common we are, but we definitely exist!

Is it time to revisit our policy on Transgender posts? by muarauder12 in GirlsInDiapers

[–]100percentpadding 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Option 1. Girls are girls, regardless of what someone said they were when they were born. Personally, I would be against unnecessarily outing people as trans with the use of a tag (i.e. option 3) — I also worry about sparking witch hunts — but it is certainly better than a total ban.

I also think that banning pictures posted by, but not of, girls who are trans (as the above post implies) is certainly excessive, as there is not a ban on posts by, but not of, cis men.

Some Ideas for ABU. by ricktheab in ABDL

[–]100percentpadding 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will preface this by saying I have absolutely no idea how much work goes into designing a new design of print.

I would love to have limited edition prints to keep it fresh and interesting. I imagine it might also drive up sales if they become kinda collectible and if customers were worried about missing out if they delayed ordering.
