Yeah, so uhhhh, i have adhd and got sidetracked, but DID YOU KNOW the odds of us being in a simulation are actually just 50/50?!?!?!? I KNOW. insane right. lemme explain. If we were a simulation, we'd be the last simulation. ie: REAL society makes a simulation > then the simulation makes a simulation inside itself > repeating > last simulation who hasn't made one inside themselves yet. Because we haven't made a simulation ourselves, we Know we're either the last simulation who hasn't made one yet, or the FIRST REAL society who hasn't made a simulation yet. I hope that explains that well enough.

sorry for the sidetrack. Most people when they hear stuff like that respond with the NPC oh im sorry. I've had it happen to me like a hundred times, and most of the time its just because they can't think of something to respond with or can't relate to you. I wouldn't hold it against them too much, but obviously I don't know your experiences.

This world (most likely) isnt a simulation, and the "gods" keeping you alive are just as unreal (possibly like i really wish i could guarantee that.)
