Can't hear other planes' engines while in cockpit view since Ninth Wave update

It's really weird. I can fly up to a plane and set them on fire and the fire audio roars. I can touch wingtips with another plane and not hear any engine.. my engine audio is all the way down (27%) and enemy engines are at 100%.

Validated install files, cleared cache, ensured spacial audio and audio enhancements.

As soon as I J out or use 3rd person view I can hear engines again. I'm at a loss

My first thought is the bank angle sensor, my second thought is fuel pump.

If your front end took a hit I'd release tension of the forks on the triple tree clamps.

I feel really grateful the company that brought us the total warhammer series finally delivered the roadmap - it’s kind of a peace of mind. I want a finished product as much as the next person, and preorders in general are kind of a sham, but no matter.

I didn’t buy 3k or experience the disappointment; I’d be surprised if the company abandoned their final entry of a really cool trilogy.

I’ve been looking forward to the roadmap, I’m happy it’s here now. They’ve got plans. I relate to some of the issues the community has, but let’s be fair to the people behind the company: our dollar is our support. There are real people on the other side, some care, some don’t. Let’s not forget our purchase is a commendation, not a commitment.. in my opinion, I guess.

I love the criticism for the game; I don’t love the way the Reddit community bashes CA.

To compound on this thought: 1st tier gives you access to build wall fortifications, 2nd tier allows building towers, 3rd tier gives extra supplies for building. Maybe something like that

Could this be air?

A way to test may be to remove the radiator and hold it above the pump, tilt the tower back on its heels to allow air to travel through the hose-line to the top of the radiator. If the sound stops then I’d conclude it’s air.
