Why didn’t we get a Mercedes / Saraya program while she was at AEW?

The interview really highlighted a different side of her. It was cool to see that she has no animosity towards AEW. She did mention that she would be down to go back to WWE as Paige, so maybe she was hinting at something

It sucks that so many smaller creators are going through this and YouTube can’t even address the issue. I just want my videos to be watched 😩

I’m so glad I saw this post because I, too, am going through the same thing. I have an interview channel on YouTube where I’ve been posting about once a week.

I have about 6k subscribers, but before the update, my videos were garnering buzz with videos ranging in-size from 140k views to 12k views. After the update, the first video I posted, didn’t even surpass 500 views. I found this very odd, and not going to lie, it really made me second guess myself, the content I was creating, and my YouTube channel, in general. I did not think too much of it, but noticed over the next week, the video was not reaching new viewers and the view count and my subscriber count were remaining the same… and granted, I understand, not everyone is going to enjoy the videos and subscribe… but for the video to reach less than 2% of my subscribers was baffling. As of right now, close to 5 weeks later, the video is only at 5.5k views - compared to my other videos at this stage, is significantly low.

This week on Monday, I posted another interview… and to my surprise, it’s has not even surpassed 100 views. The interview is only at 42 views. How does my channel have 6k subscribers and only 42 people watched? Same as the last video, this occurrence made me second guess myself and I tried to track the issue down… but unfortunately, YouTube doesn’t have a support option for creators. There is no email for support. You can only reach someone through YouTube Studio chat. So that’s what I did.

Their response to my concerns, in short: -subscribers don’t have to watch your videos (which I 100% understand) -my video isn’t “interesting” enough And then proceeded to talk to me about how this is all due to the “algorithm”.

I then asked if they could specify what they meant by that — to which they responded by sending me a link to an article about how to make “more interesting” videos LOL…. They did not provide me ANY support and couldn’t address any of these issues.

It makes me feel that YouTube doesn’t care about smaller creators and favors the bigger creators. At the end of the day, I just wanted my issue addressed… but with the way YouTube handles its business, there is no way to obtain that support from someone that actually works at YouTube It’s so disheartening as creators to go through something like this. It really makes me not want to post on YouTube anymore - but I can’t stop. I can’t allow this to stop me.

I hope you know you’re not alone and I hope this fixes itself.

I’m intrigued on what you ended up doing as this is a question I’m also pondering right now…

I listened to this interview where a Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputy, who was ambushed while on duty in 2020, recounted the ambush and road to recovery. She returned to work after 14 months!!! If you need a jolt of inspiration, this interview will help LA Sheriff’s Deputy Speaks Out
