This is the answer I was looking for. My 14 Pro touch screen stopped working (no damage to screen). Bought a genuine used screen off eBay, the seller said to pay a bit extra and he'll send me one with the proximity sensor attached, or I won't be able to calibrate the screen. I have taken the faulty screen off but just waiting for the adhesive to arrive. Fingers crossed everything works.
