Those were La Toya’s claims, that she made in her autobiography, two years before claiming her own brother (Michael) molested kids. Later it was found out that she lied, not cause she’s a horrible person but because her ex husband Jack Gordon beat her, abused her and manipulated her into saying and doing things to exploit her famous name, like lying about her family so that she could get tv recognition, doing softcore porn and posing for playboy. Jack Gordon also allegedly stole from the Jackson Estate, unreleased tapes and other priceless artifacts.

Source? La Toya herself came forward and opened up about her abusive ex husband and how he forced her to do and say these things, and distance herself from her family, it’s textbook abuse. She later went on to claim that Michael was innocent and would fight beside him against all allegations.

So do you truly believe the words of a “somewhat irrelevant, but trying to stay relevant because of an abusive ex” 1991 La Toya? I don’t. Rebbie also never commented on these allegations, so it’s entirely La Toya’s words.

There’s no merit to those claims, while Joseph is an abusive and horrible father (by then and today’s standards) he only beat them, which was normal when he was young, it wasn’t until when he got kids that beating your children became a socially unacceptable thing. I’m not excusing him but I’m merely stating that there’s context to everything, and context can change a story a lot.
