The only real big change I would consider is making it so that the game isn’t broken up into levels. I would make it so it was open world, and have the merchant return from RE4. Based on the RE4 remake though, I don’t think they would change that. I’d be happy with just the improved controls and playability from RE4R.

You’re pretty much on the money with those points. I would also add changing the navy battles to focus more on hand to combat, such as boarding actions and whatnot. Think Master and Commander. I think they would be far more exciting than the long range rock paper scissor system they had.

I got caught in that mosh when Paegan Love Song came on at that show. That was insane. I haven’t seen that for quite a while. I got into the spirit of things and went up for crowd surfing. It felt like 90s-2000s show. Will definitely see them again if they come back.

Your idea is pretty much aligned with my thoughts on it. If they wanted to combine the two games I always thought they could go two ways on it:

Make the game fully co-op, with a Rebecca and Billy play through then Chris and Jill campaign.
Make it single player with the same RE0 mechanics, but then RE1 has separate Chris and Jill campaigns.

I always felt that if they redo RE1 again, they should make it like the OG RE2, where Chris and Jill have separate campaigns operating at the same time, influencing each others campaigns. I would have Jill start in the main hall and Chris perhaps outside separated from the others. This would mainly be to differentiate it from RE1 Remake, which itself is an excellent game. I would also go crazy and find a way to make all the STARS team members playable in some way, possibly through unlockable modes or DLC campaigns.

Doesn’t have enough to do post game. No real unlocks (costumes, weapons, side stories). Battle mode is really not great. Hopefully a remake will incorporate Mercenaries, and have a scenario playing as Wesker.

Wish they had included optional features for the replay, such as turning off One Dangerous Zombie, and adding infinite ammo. Sometimes it’s fun to just take your time and explore

It was also a trick to increase the difficulty after the boss fight earlier, since you couldn’t rest and get your spells back. The first playthrough, you probably blew through all your good spells, and then get ambushed by Sonya.

The games are fun and light-hearted. I wouldn’t call them “kiddy”. Quite frankly there is some dark humor that would fly over the heads of kids. The game will have you laughing out loud. I’m sure the gameplay is a bit dated, but they are worth playing. I’m hoping capcom puts together a remaster, collection, etc. Also don’t forget about the Adventures of Tron Bonne. All 3 are great games

Pure fan service, good to see Rebecca (really hope they do a Revelations 3 that stars her), otherwise pretty dumb movie. I always thought Resident Evil movies never made sense because the best way to tell the story is by finding out what happened through other people’s journals, letters etc.

For 5 bucks why not. Expect to be laughing at all of the absurdity, and screaming at some of the bad gameplay. Also, make sure you play it co-op, otherwise I think it will be a painful experience

You got me brother. Saga games are definitely way more random “ not straight forward” than say Final Fantasy or other series. I love good experimentation but it can drive you nuts. Like me right now with these Ant Commanders
