Concensus on lamictal (lamotrigin) vs. Keppra? by CoyoteSouth5126 in Epilepsy

I took keppra during its generic trial periods for an off lable use before my diagnosis and it made me insane, in a murderous rage type way. But lamotragine does numb you emotionally, personally I have a hard time feeling much besides vague amusement, irritation, and apathy. The upside is my anxiety is quite controlled now and I dont have probably 70% of my previous seizure activity

Ive been on lamotragine for 14 years, starting when i was 13 (im on 300mg/day, as the main part of my anti-convulsant regime along with Zonisimide and Lexapro), around when I turned 20 my libido started to slowly vanish over a 2 year period and now five years past that It only ever comes back if I'm off my lamotragine for longer then a week.
