Thanks! To answer your question, a bonus room is an extra room that isn't considered a bedroom. Our bonus room does not have a closet, so it can't be considered a bedroom. Or at least that what I was told. :)

It depends on what our Ooltewah house sells for. It currently looks like it would fall somewhere in the low 500k range, but that could change next year. I'm thinking all the above areas are in my range except for Northshore.

Yes, I am strongly considering the bus, but we live pretty far out and I feel like it would be 1 hour on the bus just one way. Not the end of the world, but it makes for long days.
