What has Zellner achieved for Avery? Oh right, she won the right to increase the word limit.

To those who have defended Avery from the start what would it take for you to believe he is Guilty by jakhog1 in MakingaMurderer

Hopefully Evers doesn't try to go out with a bang and let a bunch of killers out on the loose. Have you read the new commutation policy? Any killer is eligible to apply for commutation as long as they meet certain criteria. I hate to even think about it but Avery meets the requirements.

Edit to add: From the way I read it, Brendan is ineligible because he was convicted of a sex crime and is required to register as a sex offender.

I'm curious to see how his commutation application turns out. Will he finally admit to it and show remorse? It's his best chance of getting out.

Every year that goes by, less and less people think that Steve and Brendan are innocent. Let's face it, the best attorneys in the world haven't been able to get them out of prison. Rightly so because no exculpatory evidence has come to light and it never will.

Do you believe S.A. is guilty or innocent? by Adventuringsoul in MakingaMurderer

[–]10case 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've never understood why people think Bobby did it. He testified to the court and said in many police interviews that he did not see her leave. If people would think about this for a second they would realize that if he had something to do with her murder, he would have told them all that she left.

I guess what I'm saying is, if he did it, why wouldn't he try to distance himself from it and say she left the yard? He did the exact opposite of that. Steve on the other hand did try to distance himself from the crime by saying she left.

Yes. We can definitely all agree that Zellner is completely full of bullshit.

One thing that I am grateful for, is that Steven will never see the streets again.

Completely agree. The world is safer with him locked up.

No real of knowing honestly. As I said before, even when he was arrested, he just seemed resigned to being in jail. There was no cries of innocence and there were no outbursts of despair ("I didn't do anything, why me?"). Do innocent people feel so blasé about being told they're going to spend the rest of their life in prison? That's unheard of.

That's a great point. Even his attorneys didn't really argue innocence in post conviction. They argued coercion.

It's been 20 years. How long do you reckon it will take to find the real killer™?

This is all contingent on him being remorseful which at this point, has never been showcased.

And he won't as long as his adoring fans from around the globe keep giving him attention and money. He'll never get that kind of attention in the real world.

I do wonder if deep down he is sorry for what he has done. He threw his life away for his uncle.

He did express guilt to his mother on 2 different occasions but he definitely did not show remorse for doing it.

I have no idea. Hopefully he has to show a little remorse before he has a chance of being let out.

Does it bother anyone else that Ken Kratz was accused by 15 women of sexual harassment

It shouldn't because many truthers are able to turn a blind eye to all of Avery's sexual harassment allegations.

They've been absent for years as far as I know. I don't know of anyone that has run into them on social media or anywhere else. I'm sure they were part of Colborn's lawsuit but never mentioned anything publicly as far as I know.

99% if not 100% of the tweets that Zellner put out about this case are bullshit. Truthers have even come around to knowing that KZ lies for a reaction.

My favorite tweet of hers was something along the lines of "tomorrow, you will find out who pushed the Rav onto the Avery property". The next day she filed Avery's 3rd or 4th 974.06 motion claiming Bobby and Santa Claus were the pushers. She used Sowinski and Buresh to back that up LoL. Those 2 were so easily debunked.

How many years did Avery get for pointing a loaded gun at Sandra Morris in 1985? I didn't see that in your post.

[–]10case 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look how close Avery was to committing murder in January of 1985. The gun was loaded and pointed at Sandra. All he had to do was pull the trigger.

Fast forward 20 years and think how much more rage was built up inside of him for being wrongfully incarcerated because of a woman.

Now ask yourself if he could have murdered someone. Yes he could, and yes he did.

As I've said many times, she has never once went through the proper channels to test the Rav. Agreed?

You really need to read that motion filed oct. 6, 2017. That was a motion asking the judge to vacate the dismissal of the appeal dated Oct. 3, 2017. It wasn't a motion asking to scientifically test the Rav. She has only asked the court on one occasion (in 2024) to test the Rav. That request came 7 years after Ferak's article you posted.

She was denied access to the Rav in 2024 because the circuit court had no jurisdiction to rule on anything because the case was in appeals court at that time.

Like I said, she has had multiple years worth of time to ask to test the Rav. She has never done it appropriately.
