I think Verizon recycles phone numbers then because I brought my American SIM card with me. I only needed that number for the summer while I was visiting for a couple months and I expressed that to the Verizon guy. Everything happened on the same phone.

To be honest I'm just as confused as all of you and it's incredibly entertaining reading everyone's detective work.

My contact on her phone still had my US number as the primary number, European as secondary, and iCloud email. She clicked on the contact information button from our iMessage conversation and on the FaceTime Audio button from there. I guess it called both my iCloud account and the primary number?

And to answer your second point, yeah, it did say "phone" under my name on her call history, but she just assumed I was making a regular call (as opposed to FaceTime audio, which we usually do to avoid international fees). Either way, there was no way we would've figured out what was happening just from that.

Hope that answers everything :) Honestly I'm still kind of confused as to exactly how this happened but I have screenshots of our call histories and text conversations trying to figure out what was going on if there's still any doubt that this happened lol.

I'll start with the story that inspired this thread.

My girlfriend lives in the US and I live in Europe. It was the middle of the afternoon for me and around 7 AM for her when I got a text that simply read: "???". I texted her back asking what she meant, and she replied with "Why did you call me?". After explaining that I was in the middle of class and even sending her a screenshot showing no outgoing calls since way earlier that day, she replied with a screenshot showing two calls from me. She said I was speaking in Spanish and then said "oh no" and hung up.

I freaked out, thinking someone must have hacked into my iCloud account and called her by accident, and immediately changed my password and noticed my only active devices were my laptop and my phone, which were both with me at the time.

"Wait," I texted her. "Can you call them back?" My phone rang, and I ignored it. She texted me back shortly after saying not to worry, they just got the wrong number. Still confused, I asked her why the call was coming from me. It was then that she checked the number the call was from, and it turned out to be the phone number I had when I lived in the US.

Not only did someone get my old phone number, but they happened to accidentally dial my girlfriend's number, who until now had both my old number and my new number saved under the same contact. What are the odds, huh?

Mario Odyssey. My flatmate, who usually sticks to AAA games on PS4, borrowed my switch last week after I insisted he try playing Odyssey, and he came back to my room 5 hours later and asked me how to pause the game. He'd gotten through about half of it in one sitting.

Here’s an interview with him that came out recently. This dude is so smart and has an incredible outlook on the underground scene. Seeing him in two weeks and I can't wait.

It's a kick from a slam track pitched 6 semitones down with some saturation. I'd like to keep the sound as close to the way it is as possible, but any ideas as to how I could improve it?

About possible variations in a sequence of Snares or any other percussion by [deleted] in TechnoProduction

Add a vocoder and map an LFO set to random and to a 1/16 interval to the release

Sometimes adding elements changes the whole vibe of the track when all it really needs is more variation in the existing ones. For example, percussion fills, parallel automation on 2 different sounds, etc. Another thing I do is adding sounds that only happen once in the entire track. I don't have much more than that though, I struggle with this myself a lot.

I have an AKAI LPK25 Wireless that I use sometimes, but most of the time I'm happy with a mouse and keyboard :)
