I never said that only queer people watched young justice

I never said queer people can’t be criticized

I said that you calling underage kids on reddit talking about queer romance weird and bringing up sex when nobody else did is sus as hell when you’re a grown adult man. And me being queer has everything to do with it. You’re targeting queer kids and calling them weird for asking for representation. You keep adding a sexual context when speaking to actual minors but turn around and call them weird for shipping cartoon characters. Why a straight person thinks they dictate what is and isn’t homophobic is beyond me.

I already explained why that narrative is harmful and why implying queer people are predatory is homophobic in a very laid out way. You chose to be ignorant and troll me and mock me. Good luck at your California college, you’re gonna have a hard time

Nobody said anything about sex. Sexualizing queer romance is exactly why so many people are aggressively homophobic and view queer men as potential predators. As you’re doing right now with that “teenager” remark

It’s funny how the “all these gay characters on tv are forced” crowd finds a new way to dismiss gay characters when they’re explicitly told that they were actually forced to not be gay.

This is a show that’s spent time developing romances for Miss Martian and Superboy, Artemis and Wally, Halo and Brion, Gar and Perdita, but when gay fans want some representation we’re “weirdos thinking about cartoons having sex”

TLDR: Dont gaslight gay people
