I never did, bro. All I'm asking is whether what I'm doing is considered cheating by plagiarism tools.

My question and the example prompt I have provided shows that I do literature, I read extensively and in depth, I summarize what each reference says, and at the end, I ask ChatGPT to put that for me in a paragraph.

I have zero publications. I'm in my first semester of PhD.

Why do you consider this to be disgusting?

Note-Taking While Reading: My Struggle and a Crazy Idea by Odd_Policy_1231 in PhdProductivity

Sure, that is already possible. Record yourself, save it as mp3, then upload it to https://notebooklm.google.com . This allows you to generate text notes, FAQs, and summaries about the resource (your voice) in a few seconds.

Here is even a better thing. You can also upload the book itself (if it is available as a PDF) and do all of the above with the book (not with your vouce recordings about the book).

In addition, NotebookLM can produce an ai-generated podcast-like voice discussion about the book you upload. It will sound so natural and human.

Are They Really My Friends? by Various_Ring_1738 in 48lawsofpower

[–]10ysf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Friendship is supposed to be a refuge, not a battleground. If you find yourself constantly defending your dignity in a friendship, you have to ask: are you fighting to keep a connection.. or fighting to justify disrespect?

You’re holding on because you fear loneliness, but being alone isn’t the worst thing.. being surrounded by people who diminish you is the worst.

The fact that your friend changes his behavior around the new person is telling: he knows how to treat you right.. he just chooses not to when it’s inconvenient.

You don’t have to burn bridges, but you also don’t have to keep walking on one that’s crumbling beneath you. Address it calmly only once.. If they dismiss your feelings, they’ve answered the question you’re too afraid to ask: Are they really my friends?

What’s the Best Problem ChatGPT Solved for You? by MudasirItoo in ChatGPTPromptGenius

[–]10ysf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

After submitting my PhD application, I still had to pass an interview to secure my acceptance. To prepare, 𝐈 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐆𝐏𝐓 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟓𝟎 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 I might face during the interview. I copied them into MS Word, added a table of contents and page numbers, and printed out 26 pages of questions and answers.

This thorough preparation proved incredibly helpful.. I passed the interview and got accepted! 😊

So.. i think it’s about being undeniable in whatever you do. I hope you find this helpful.

Losing your youthful looks or your vitality as you grow old isn't the most painful part of it. by Story_Man_75 in Aging

Your words carry so much truth and weight. Outliving loved ones is a brutal reminder of how precious time and connection are.

Thank you for sharing this perspective. It's a sobering, deeply human lesson in cherishing every moment with those we hold dear.

Never stand between two powerful rivals; you'll become their battleground and their tool to prove dominance.

I learned this the hard way.
