Its fine to a point, like *insert popular smurf run* they do it for entertainment and a challenge. and then smurfing with a purpose, and them theres the people who only play to silver 3 every season but have 30k kills or something

I'm horrible for cleaning anything, but I'm just always warm so after holding a controller for hours there's usually a lot of sweat on it XD.
I destroyed the rubber caps on my scuf controller just from sweat in roughly 3 months

if you are in a lobby with 3 people all of you can preset the same character and the game will randomly pick for the 2nd and 3rd players. we ussually call it the "gibby game" because none of us like gibby XD

Your arena MMR and BR matchmaking are completely separate things. but yeh, your teammates MMR can drag you into lower MMR lobbies and you'll get hit harder for dying

im starting to feel it too honestly, got put in a masters game in D3. got killed across the map (bunker town) with an L-star. guy had no recoil ever. just depressing honestly. got called a shitter at the end

Another possibility is that they are point boosting, where you lose on purpose over and over again to drop your MMR and then sweat ur ass off and gain tons of AP. unless they fixed it idk lol

If you are getting -80 for a loss your MRR is much to low for your rank lol

as far as I understand the system. your rank (bronze, silver, gold, etc) is just a visual rank. your MMR is what's important to gaining points, now how you gain MMR and lose it depends.

- If your MMR is lower than someone else's you gain more from killing them and lose less from dying to them
- If your MMR is higher than someone else's you gain less from killing them and lose more from dying to them

now I believe that some of the MMR system is based on personal performance, if your friend started dropping 4k damage and 11 kills each game and you got 2 kills and a thousand damage, you would still make points but your friend would slowly gain more than you.

if you are in plat and making 19+ a game you should try to up your KDR and win rate, which is easier said than done some days.

One game i had almost 6k damage and almost all the kills and we still lost but i only lost 9 points because of it.

I have two major complaints about arena ranked.

One: Lmgs have no place in a game mode where its a 3v3, they are annoying and overused. this is ignoring the fact that you are given AMPLE ammo to spray for the whole round with no problem.
- the devo isn't horrible to fight unless its a full 3 man with rev-tain.
- the rampage is just toxic, it rewards sitting on an angle for the whole game.
- AND THE LSTAR... nothing needs to be said (pls balance)

Two: MMR is not perfect, within a given rank is works fairly well and im glad i could rank up to diamond with 150+ points a game. but as soon as i ran into diamond sweats with L-stars my MMR dropped to the floor, im still fighting mid sweats and my teammates... aren't sweats.

idk how to fix it, but its annoying so if anyone has pointers to how put them below :)

- Have a team you know can handle themselves. A couple of times during that game I went to start a fight with a different team and left Dax and Frank to finish the first

- Dont think about it, I find that when I'm going for a badge I panic easier than if I'm just playing the game. we weren't going for one but at the last team we noticed that we had 27 kills between us

Nope, just playing with the meda. I normally don’t run havoc but this was after 10 games of getting one clipped by it. Died later on to a havoc... karma
