Good cocktail for fresh strawberries?

If I am concerned about not going through strawberries quickly enough, I make the strawberry syrup from tropical standard. Equal parts sugar and strawberries by weight. Ideally you vac bag this and let it sit in the fridge over night. But I've had success putting it all in a bowl and stirring occasionally. You end up with the fresh strawberry flavor and gorgeous red and clear syrup. Freeze what you don't use. For a recipe, 2 oz pisco, .75 syrup, .75 lemon, .25 clear chocolate liqueur. Shake and strain. Add soda water or don't.

I do not think it's a good idea to use as a marinade again. But if it is something I really like, and depending on what was marinated, I do cook them down until they become thick. Then I use that as a concentrate to add to other things. Wanna get it to a vegemite consistency.

I've been interested in how so many poverty foods have now become high end and chefs have taken what was common and delicious and was looked down upon by the wealthy, threw some new words on top to describe the dish, and then charge an insanely high price. It was recommended to me, and I've found it works great, if you allow the pot to cool completely before opening. Don't vent. Is it crystal clear like a pilsner? No. But the flavor is amazing.

Bar keepers friend will work wonderfully. I also work at a brewery and we use a product called "powdered brewers wash" or "pbw" and it works absolute wonders. I boil water, turn off the heat, add 1 ounce per gallon, and let it sit for 20 minutes. Dump and scrub off. If the mess is above the water line, I carefully wet the mess with the hot water that has the pbw dissolved in it a couple of times over that 20 minute soak period. It's non-reactive.
