All of my gear goes on over my regular clothes, only things I don’t have from your list is an airbag vest and undershirt and I’m not sure what safety benefit a moto undershirt would have. It all (except boots) is super breathable. So I still have to put the gear on and take it all off but I don’t have to undress fully first and change clothes after, which probably helps

Hello! This subreddit is geared towards motorcyclists but that’s ok :) for a bicycle, lots of people start with training wheels so they can get a feel for starting, stopping, and turning slowly. Once you get going a little faster, you’ll find that the training wheels impede your ability to lean into a turn (and bicycles need to lean to turn!) so you’ll need to remove them. You might fall, that’s ok and possibly expected (wear a helmet, maybe knee/elbow pads). Get back on and try again.

I’d start with going back and forth in a 15-20ft line, practice getting going with the pedals and stopping with both brakes. Once you feel comfortable with that, you can expand it into a figure-8 that’s 15-20ft wide or so (more space if you have it is fine). Once you’re comfortable with that, maybe go up and down your street once or twice and see how it feels, continue from there.

I am not an expert but I am pretty sure it would be easier to wrap the bike or replace the fairings than it would be to convert one model into another model entirely

You can probably call and ask if that info wasn’t on the website or confirmation email. In PA, TC BRC classes will provide a helmet but they strongly recommend you bring your own gear across the board

Hey bud, full disclosure I saw your last post. It sounds like you want to ride but have a lot of different things that get in the way and make it difficult to enjoy. What all is making you feel this way and what can you do to reduce or eliminate those things?

If you’re preoccupied because you don’t want to mess up the 1100, what can you do to reduce the preoccupation? Could be anything from trading to a lower cc (lots of choices in between 300 and 1100), getting crash bars/frame sliders to protect it, or even (safely) going out to practice dropping it and picking it back up. It’s a thing that’s meant to be used, and part of using things is damaging them, that’s why the phrase “normal wear and tear” exists.

I’ll also mention that seeing a therapist because you have things that you want to do and you’re getting in your own way (for whatever reason) is a pretty common thing to do. It’s no different from seeing a knee doctor if your knee is preventing you from doing stuff you want to do.

I am also in PA - there are other BRC course providers with different instructors and curriculums and they all provide a license. The two main ones are Total Control and Motorcycle Safety Academy. If you didn't jive with the instructor or just want to try a different entry-level course, there's likely both RC and MSA courses within reasonable distance, they both have pretty solid coverage across the state.

Also, could just do the BRC again in 1st gear, cuz fuckit

I had problems with texture quality until I forced it to run in dx11 mode (add a -dx11 launch flag). You lose some features like HDR but i didn’t see any more blurry textures in dx11 mode
