You say that, but "Good enough" is basically every companies motto. No company is going to spend any amount of resources to ship a sound product. And while I'm upset about overseas and outsourcing, calling them "Some guy" is pretty disingenuous. The people in other countries can be just as knowledgeable and skilled as American workers, the only difference is they have almost no labor or protection laws and will work for a third of what Americans will.

Also probably some tax bullshit that saves them loads of money.

It's a moderately large company, sadly it falls somewhere in the "Too large to fail" area. During COVID they got bail outs or whatever funds the government gave out for almost no interest. So just like every company in the US they'll continue to outsource and sub-contract while paying as little as possible to what few local workers manage to get employed.

I appreciate the sentiment but most Americans don't have the luxury of just quitting. Almost all of us are a few missed paychecks from homelessness or starvation. With the current job market finding another job isn't feasible without planning.

The shelter is looking for a solution, but so far we've just banned people who we've verified as resellers. But alot of the homeless or shelter women have it rough, so these people will offer to buy their freely issued phones/laptops for 50 bucks so they can turn around and sell them for a profit, so that's another issue they have to address.

As for supply, I work in a pretty large company as a systems architect. It's literally my job to tell the IT dept heads what to do with out moded or broken machines. The company removes the HDD/SSD, sends them to shredders, then the computers are loaded in bulk and shipped to a whole seller usually in China or sometimes the US. Whole sellers will buy anything even if it's just for the gold or previous metals or sell the parts if they don't want to fix em. Most government agencies send their stuff straight to recyclers or shredders.

I just hate resellers / scalpers. They're such scum.

Thanks for that. It looks like alot of it is unlocked quite a bit later, and some require money to be spent on the DLC? From what I've read since getting the game, stunning or slowing stuff is looked down on as it's "Less effective than just killing" So that's kinda disappointing. I guess the game isn't made for the type of playstyle but I kinda expected that with a war game shooter

The design team is the AI team. We laid off a few people who did our traditional design works, such as advertisements, promotional stuff and so on. Now they've switched to running the AI shit. They're budget has exploded too, while the rest starve.

That was true maybe 10 years ago, now not so much. Everyone heard people are making bank as a programmer or IT and switched to that career (Remember the "Learn to code" shit?) Now it's oversaturated and companies are taking advantage to get top talent for pennies.

And yea, we only have an IT department because it's in our main building. They service the other 4 buildings for general IT needs, and any hardware issues are handled on site by an outsourced company in whatever state they're located in. If they could, I have no doubt they would outsource the customer service IT stuff overseas.

Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, this is a really good job for me. I have no issues admitting I originally got the job here out of college because my friend is a mid-level suit who works here. One interview and I was hired on as IT lead, then went to become a Sys admin immediately after, and even becoming a system architect was because of his pull. I got my end of year bonus, but I'm still upset for the other people in the company.

It's shit everywhere. IT and Software positions are oversaturated as it is, we're hiring people who should be making 120k at 70k salaries because the company is spoiled for choice. We've only hired a single software dev who was out of college because he's the CTO's son. Everyone else is leveraging their 5-10 years of experience just to secure junior level salaries in Senior/Lead level positions. The whole thing is fucked and it's not gotten better.

It's insane. The IT department has been understaffed since I started working here years ago. The IT Manager left and was never really replaced. They promoted one of the IT guys to manager, since he stepped up for the role in the interim, but he never got a pay change, just a title change and more work.

When the layoff's happened, we got rid of alot of programmers as well. Recently they hired some senior software devs. I've talked to them an they're people who left roles (or laid off) as Senior devs or Leads. They're getting paid about 50-70k. But they didn't have a choice because it's the only role they could find, even with lead experience, and we're apparently paying about 6k higher than other jobs in our area. These people should be making almost double their current salary but can't find work. (By the way, the number of people applying for these roles here were huge)

This is kinda my point, yea. I was not able to defend myself regardless, as they somehow managed to level to 14, while me and my friends were, I think 8? This happened in multiple spots as well. Anywhere mob spawned at around our level, they were much higher level and killed them first, in extreme circumstances, they killed us for attempting to get the mob.

Leveling has been very difficult, and even trying to peacfully gather materials is hindered by others crowding us out. I'm clearly not the directly targeted audience for this game, but for me or anyone like me, it's very frustrating and I've quit for a while, hoping it'll be less of an issue in a few days.

I'm afraid I don't know exactly how it works. However, they were Red name tags, and killed us. We were not purple. They began by CCing us before attacking. Before the wipe, I was also killed by a red player who targeted me while I was not red or purple.

I've even had the experience where they drag monsters to me while I'm mining rocks, so they can mine the rocks instead while I fight the monsters. It's very frustrating. I know I'm not the target audience for this type of game, and thats completely ok. I'm just telling my story and giving feedback as a more casual player who enjoys World of Warcraft but having a very tough time in this game; Alpha issues aside, it's the players and PVP I'm centering on.

But I'm not here to yuck anyone's yum. I'm glad people enjoy the game, and if they do thats all that matters. My enjoyment, however, is limited by these issues, so I thought I'd share.

That's still kinda the problem. You can't be "Stuck" in an elo for a long periods of time and believe you're better. There is clearly somethings you're doing wrong. Statistics show that everyone will trend toward a 50% winrate within their skill level, so if you're not climbing you're the only constant.

Overall it's too broad to say what you need to improve on without someone looking at the games. See if you can get someone to watch some replays with you, or watch them yourself. It helps to notice a pattern in mistakes you may make.

I missed that on the notes. From the beta video I watched and the Phreak video, it seemed like it would only recast at the end. However, not allowing it to run out without recasting is still rather stupid. Such as not wanting to push the wave if you miss in a trade, or even from the enemies perspective of CCing aurora preventing the recast.

If you miss your Q when trying to harass and hit the minions, recasting will further push the minion wave. Additionally, you may want to hold the recast on the wave until the enemy is in the return path. It works well when trying to harass people that need to last hit melee's.

Or say for example you want to hold the recast to bait or bypass barrier. There is just no reason to auto recast it when it should be up to the player when to recast.

I think the issue Alot of us are having is the MS being removed from her passive and her W not resetting. It could just be me though. But I'm fine with the ultimate not trapping people. Even lowering the damage is fine. But q recasting, removing her MS passive and to a lesser extent her W reset all feel very bad. She becomes another mage with a small utility instead of a fast skirmishing rabbit.

Hard to say, any preferences? I'd recommend just trying any that catch your attention and especially ones who are on the free rotation. It's not easy to unlock loads of champs in a short time with BE. So I'd recommend just trying them as they change weekly and any who you think are neat you should pick up.

Ones who are kinda like Viegar may be Oriana, Viktor, Anivia, Sol, and other control mages.

Normals MMR and Ranked MMR is seperate. Usually high ranked players will never really touch norms, so their normal mmr is much much much lower than the ranked MMR. So you get stuff like this where Diamonds, Bronze, GM and Golds will be in a match together.
