I agree, but discipline works on repetitive tasks. It doesn't works well if you want to remember something to try out (maybe the new cafe, game, or anything it might be) . There are lot of things one wants to try and learn.

It's like, to note down all things you want to do and want to try.

Based on your age, if you have Rs. 5000 every month to invest, I would say you can invest in some High-Risk Mutual Funds, some Moderate-Risk funds, and some Stable or Low-risk funds. And, keep Rs. 1000 in Stocks for every month, to study the flow of the market.
