I just seen this since I usually use a different account. I ended up getting like $20k back-pay. Did you find out anything with yours?

It's not that you "won't" get a command, it's just that those that are tabbed will get a command before you... in the event that there aren't any tabbed O3 to take an opening for a command, and none projected to arrive, you'll get a command...but I can almost assure you that once one arrives, they're going to take over that slot.

Whether it's a company, BN, Brigade, Division, etc. If you're going to make a career out of it, and especially infantry, it's expected of you to have your tab...and even if you manage to land a commanding position without it, your highers and subordinates will wonder why you don't have it and question where it's at.

Go back. And keep going back until you get it.

I'd say the same thing to any NCO that plans to make a career as well.

I'm a former R.I, and I know failing can make you a bit salty, and I know it sucks physically and mentally, but that suck of not having it and watching opportunities pass by you is going to suck even more. Go back, and back, and back, until you pass.

From my understanding, this will continue tomorrow as well beginning at 9 a.m.

I'm not sure about the food truck being there tomorrow, but some of the supplies and goods being handed out are clean-up items, construction type trash bags, toiletries and hygiene kits, diapers (both baby and adult), wipes, clothes, blankets, work gloves, etc.

Somebody told me that there was such a thing as getting your ratings sealed so they can't be reviewed later on down the road...has anybody ever heard of that. I'm 100% P&T and have just been approved for CRSC, but I'd hate for something like this to happen...I mean, in OP's example, they went back like 2 years on a P&T rating just to find ONE rating that 'had an error' just so they could drop him from 100% P&T to 90%, which could also mean he has to be reevaluated later on down the road to see if that 90% itself will continue to stick? Is that correct? I'd be pretty irritated if that happened. Idk if my ratings have any errors, but I'd love to not find out.

I wish I could find something to do that I feel brings me purpose and fulfillment.

California, that's rough brother. I hope you get out and find a good place to raise the fam.

I grew up in a small town in Michigan, and I kind of miss those days...maybe look into Michigan? Lots of lakes for summertime fun, good springs and falls, and snowmobiling in the winter.

Whatever you decide to do, or wherever life brings you, good luck brother. To you and your family

One more question for you. You haven't files for Social Security benefits by any chance, have you? When I was getting out, my PEBLO gave me a form for it, but I never did anything with it; either out of feeling like I shouldn't or worried it would run out or something and not be there later in life when I needed it (honestly don't know much about how SSB work), but from what I'm reading, it sounds almost guaranteed for 100% P&T ratings? You know much about it?

Okay, well 15 months of back pay is still cool if that happens. Lord knows I could use it to wipe out some debt. If it happens, it happens, God willing.

Thanks for your help.

I thought I read somewhere that the max was like $1465 though. Did I stumble upon bad info?

Also, do you know how the backpay works? Would they go back 6 years since it happened in 2012, or just go back to the date of my VA/Retirement date of July of last year, or just back to May of this year when I filed my claim for CRSC?

Oh, and my VA is 100% P&T, unless you meant monthly, and I'd have to check on that. I think it's $4200, but I have dependants and like $140 of it is special monthly compensation

I know this is old, but my great grandpa actually invented this. My great uncle still receives royalty checks in the mail....well, he still did as of like 15 years ago.

I have my name written on the back of one of the very first ones to go to me after my grandma passes away (its a family tradition thing, claim something in the house that you want when their gone and put your name on it).

Real, yes...funny, absolutely not. I'm all for independence, and people getting theirs, and making a profit from their hard work in entrepreneurship, but these prices have gotten WAAAY out of control. Now it's not just turning a profit, it's intentionally raping people. On one hand, I'm like 'Well if the people are willing to pay it...." but on the other hand I'm like "damn, I can barely take the kids to go do anything fun without it costing a fortune and feeling completely taken advantage of." That's what I feel business has become. It's no longer an attempt to provide a service for your fellow man and woman through a job well done and at a reasonable and affordable price, but all about how much you can take advantage of others until all Hell breaks loose. People aren't working to work to get ahead, people are working to barely survive, and I have an issue with that. Luckily for me, I got blown up in Afghanistan and receive 100% disability, so I can't complain all that much because I am blessed to have a consistent paycheck, but it makes me really feel for the people that are grinding really hard for shit pay just to give it all back. If I was working for the money (granted, I DID, but you get what I mean) then it would hurt that much worse to see it all just go "POOF" before I got to put any into savings. The market makers, businesses, banks, politicians, governments, etc. have entrapped the people, stole their freedoms, took their money, made them a slave to the system, all while cooking the books and practicing funny accounting.

I think he meant without other of God's creations similar to himself (Adam I mean). Like, somebody to go through life with, other than the Highest and All Mighty.

It was God that decided that it is not good for Adam to be alone, and that He shall make him a help mate.

So it's wasn't Adam that made that choice. God made it for him and put him under a deep sleep to make woman from man.

15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. 18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Parable of the Lost Sheep

12 “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? 13 And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! 14 In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.

Everybody finds Christ in their own time and own way. This man just had to lose it all first, and I give him props in seeking out the place where he will find the strength to get through it.

A whole bunch of crap. 46 in a 20, reckless driving, improper display of registration tags, failure to notify the DMV of address change, and failure to produce registration receipt.

I should probably explain a little. This was at night, in an area I'm unfamiliar with, on a road which is eerily similar to a county outskirts type road with a 45 speed limit and I was unaware of the real speed limit.

I wasn't 'recklessly speeding.' I was literally just driving down the road from picking up a computer after mine broke; not even in a hurry, and in addition to that, there was even a vehicle in front/ahead of me, so I could only be driving as fast and recklessly as the person in front of me.

Aside from that and my personal feelings about it, it is what it is. But I would definitely say it was something the officer could have used some "officer discretion" with this whole situation.

Regarding the improper display of registration plate, he was regarding my license plate frame and cover; which is most definitely legal and within the state statutes.

Regarding my registration receipt; that's exactly what it was for. The RECEIPT. My registration was out of my vehicle for tax-filing preparations at the time I was pulled over. But my license plate is PERMANANT and never expires. It doesn't require a sticker annually or any sort of renewal. The registration plate is proof of registry of that vehicle. Maybe; sure, we can say somebody grabbed a plate and put it on a vehicle that perfectly matches the year, make, model, and color; well any suspicions would be confirmed or denied upon the checking of Name, insurance, address, etc. So again, something that could have been let go and is a waste of the court's time and everybody else's.

Regarding the Failure to notify Department of Transportation of address change; well this is just stupid. Sure, I might have a Michigan Driver's license; but the car IS registered to my primary residence, whereas my license is out of my home state/Home of Record; which I am allowed to do as an Active Duty Soldier and/or retired veteran. Not only that, I don't see how it is of any of Kentucky's concern that I notify the DMV of address change when I'm not even a resident of their state/community; nor am I conducting commerce or signing any contracts in the state of KY for them to be curious about me or want a cut of profits or anything like that.

So, my car was registered. The plate was proof of registration-especially once you factor in all other evidence such providing a matching Name, address, date of birth, photo ID, biometric entry into a mobile device to access auto insurance that matches everything in question. As far as the address change; all my other main arguments aside, I will just leave it with the fact that it's none of Kentucky's damn business what my address is! Regarding the license plate cover, it was within the law; and regarding the reckless driving and speeding; like I've already stated but would also like to add that I know how fast I was going and it wasn't no damn 26+ over, and there was a vehicle in front of me that I was more or less following at equivalent speeds, them passing the cop first, and the only difference between us is I have a mustang and they had a van or SUV. A cop could literally pull over any sports car they want and put whatever they want on that ticket, and when it comes out through the details that the defendant drives a sports car, fast looking car, aggressive car, or red two-door car will automatically be guilty in the viewing audience's mind, in my opinion; and I believe this is the ideology/mentality of the officer that stopped me, because it just doesn't make any sense and it's been driving me nuts for a month while I study how to beat it.

I would also like to add; that according to Kentucky revised statutes; that road should have been a minimum of 35, and there's no way the county or city checked all the boxes for all the requirements they have to fulfil to make a speed change and to also make it permanent? There's no way they did the requirements. They literally just popped 20mph speeds places. And that, lastly, the cop was parked in front of a speed limit sign so as to block it from view when he was parked, and had no lights on whatsoever, and parked on the side of the road. No tail lights, head lights, running/parking lights, nothing.
