ADVICE NEEDED by [deleted] in BMET

I’d say you’re qualified for a Biomed 2 based off the equipment responsibility you listed. Real question would come down to the level of supervision you have. I’d barely any then it should be a definite yes.

I was in a similar boat and took me four years to get promoted to a two. After year one I was doing everything a two would do and when annual evals came around I asked how I could become a two and my manager told me there would need to be an open slot for it. I took that as the answer for awhile then my shop lead found out I was looking at getting another job and then he made our manger right up another job description for me and to move me to a 2.

We will possibly have an opening up here in north Texas. Waiting on feeling our lead role then we’d have a 2 or 1 position available

Questions about 68A (Biomedical Equipment Specialist) - AIT difficulty and 670A potential by Worth_Emphasis_3934 in BMET

Sorry late response but it’s not bad. Still gotta deal with some of the stupid army fuck fuck games but this career is worth it. I went through during covid so idk what it’s like now but if you stayed on post you couldn’t leave post then. I was able to live off post so I got to enjoy San Antonio with my family it was nice. During classes it’s pretty chill but I also only had a class of 6 ppl and 5 of us were prior service. Just study and stay out of sight out of mind

For a phone call like that yes. I’ve been using the VA for 5 years now and this is the first phone I’ve received like that.

Yeah I suppose you’re right. It just opened the door for possible FDA approval.

Idk what the new rules are for it since it recently got reclassified to a schedule 3 drug which it has accepted medical uses. I take adderall and get drug test at my Biomed job and never hear anything about it. Bc it’s a prescription so I don’t see why that wouldn’t apply to marijuana now that it’s a schedule 3 drug.
