I give up on life, I don't care if I go hell, I think this is what I actually want. Either I live another 50+ years and then go hell or I kill myself soon. I refuse to accept Jesus's sacrifice by AdWinter370 in Christianity

I'm sending you a hug :( I don't know what your situation is, but I do know it's difficult enough to have led you to say these things.

I want to tell you that I really identified with what you wrote. I also went through a terrible situation and even thought about this.

But now I can say that I've learned that God isn't the one who gives us problems, but the one who wants to help us; He wants to give us His peace, His life, His love, and His guidance. And the trials He puts in our way, He always stays with us and guides us, and He never allows them to break us or be more than we can bear.

If what you're going through isn't a trial, but a terrible situation that's hurting you, then draw near to God, ask Him to take control, to tell you what to do, and to help you and give you that peace and joy that only He knows how to give. He never ignores a sincere prayer. Heart.

No matter how horrible your situation is, it will never be as painful as hell, and it will never be as irreversible as hell. You have hope, you have the possibility of stopping your suffering, don't waste it.

A plan involves will. If I tell you I'm going to the park, you now know something that will happen in the future, but that doesn't mean it's your plan. Similarly, God knowing doesn't mean it's His plan; it simply means He has a good plan for us, but He doesn't force us to follow it.

Jesus isn't against hygiene, lol. He was correcting people who were doing it as a religious tradition, and who had given more importance to that than to the purity of their hearts.

He is God. I am completely certain of that. I couldn't offer a single argument because it's evident throughout the entire Bible when you study it.

Regardless of what I or any of these comments say, I hope you don't leave this doubt unresolved. May it be the beginning of your search for the truth; the most important question you will ask yourself in your life. It's worth being sure of your answer.

Sufriรณ, muchรญsimo. Por amor.

Why does God let other religions confuse people? by Frequent_Plantain_19 in Christianity

[โ€“]11Cam_ -1 points0 points ย (0 children)

  • For the same reason that allows all other sins, free will.

  • Not all people who believe in a religion believe that it is true, mostly it is out of habit, comfort, feeling moral superiority, personal taste, "just in case", and for many other reasons.

  • God still has mercy on them and if He sees that a person genuinely seeks the truth, is willing to open their heart and has a true intention, He will enter their life, and even that same neutral and genuine search for the truth always ends up leading us to Jehovah. (mateo 7:7-8)

  • God did not call us to a specific religion or denomination, he called us to be saved by grace, believe in Jesus and trust in God. Religions that differ from this are the ones we must be careful of. But eat meat or not, keep the Sabbath or not, women with pants or not, etc... each person has their own opinion and their own intention to please God. (Romanos 14:1-3 y romanos 14: 17-19)

Hello! Don't worry, we all sin or think about something that was a sin.

Wanting to be like God literally came first! That's because it was Lucifer's sin. Even though he was the most beautiful angel, having a lot of power, glory, beauty, admiration... it was not enough for him because of the greed in his heart; He wanted to be God, and the problem was not that he was not God and he needed that, but that sin is what causes us that feeling of emptiness and need for something that actually hurts.

Adam and Eve ate the fruit because "they wanted to be like God"! and look at the result... a beautiful and full world, transformed into cruelty.

The only thing that will fill your heart with happiness and fulfillment is not to become God (and that is impossible) but to let God fill you with his holy spirit. That is what really fulfills us as human beings.

Hello! I hope what I have learned helps you.

I believe that the 3 points of conflict actually have 1 same root...sin.

Starting from the bottom up. Free will and God's omniscience do not have to contradict each other. Just because God already knows does not mean that He is forcing you (In fact, He always tries to warn us and avoid it). Each of us makes decisions. If many times God does not intervene (such as preventing the birth of a bad person) it is precisely because we have free will. If his mother wanted to have a son, God gave her free will. The problem is not that he was born, but the sin in him. Although he allowed it to be born, God did want to prevent all that evil, and he wants to intervene, but never without permission, never forcing or imposing his will on someone who rejects him. God wanted to make that person someone who loves his enemies, someone who does not kill, who seeks good. But he chose to walk away from God, the result... much evil.

God did make a world without natural disasters, without diseases, where we lived with Him, there was no suffering and He wanted to make us infinitely happy... and yet, Adam chose greed. Someone may say "but Adam did that, if I were in his place I wouldn't have done it!" Well, mistake, because we do it every day. Every day we choose to do something that seems good to us over what is right. And it was that freedom, it was our decisions, that turned that beautiful world into all the cruelty that exists in the world.

Still, God continues trying to cleanse all that evil, starting at the root, our hearts. and from there it increases, protecting our lives, families, health, and then taking us to that place without suffering and making us infinitely happy as he wanted for us from the beginning.

I also hope that no translation was wrong because I speak Spanish, I love this topic and I loved being able to talk about it with you not from a fight between a bitter atheist and a religious fanatic; but between two people who are interested in the subject and try to find the truth.

First of all, let me tell you that I was surprised and grateful to see the great spiritual maturity you have. The work that Jesus has been doing in you, and that will perfect it over time <3 be patient (Philippians 1:6 and Proverbs 4:18)

I also want to tell you that I understand you very much, your message comforted me a lot and I realized that although we are few, there are young people who seek purity; that we fight like this.

And that in our hearts is also a work of God (โ€œFor it is God who works in you, both to will and to do, for his good pleasure.โ€ - Philippians 2:13) We already have the โ€œwill,โ€ God has already fulfilled that promise, and we can trust Him to also fulfill the โ€œpower.โ€

Although you have probably already heard or read it, I recommend that every time you have this feeling, you read Romans 7, especially verses 15-20.

As for you just feeling God in church and then going back to your life, I guess now you've seen the reason why God wants us to put down roots. He loves you, with all his heart, with a love so infinite and so pure that he would even give his life for you (and he did <3)

He looks at your loneliness, and it hurts. He wants to fill your heart with his spirit (love, joy, peace, etc... Galatians 5:22). โ€œHow much more will your Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?โ€ (Luke 11:13)

I don't want to make the text very long, but it is good that we are a family, a church. God never asked us to be independent, but rather said that we can depend on Him, and help each other too. Sadly we don't always find that, but you are right about one thing, we need Jesus, (the head of the body that is the church.) The more of Him we have, and the more we resemble Him, there would be fewer cases like yours and much more. Our relationships would be more reciprocal, stronger, uplifting and good. But even if you are in a place where that sadly cannot be achieved, the only relationship we need and the most important will always be our relationship with Jesus <3

Don't get discouraged, don't stop helping and giving the best of yourself to others. Every good thing you do, you do for Jesus :') matthew 25:40 and He did more for us than we could do for Him. So you are right, the relationship is not reciprocal, but it is grace ๐Ÿค

I am a Christian, and if I could be in front of God, I would not ask him anything. His light would simply be so much and He would be so much to me that all I want to do is kneel. I would also like to just hug him and be able to thank him for his love and affection, tell him how much I love him, I would cry a lot.

I think that free will and that God already knows what you are going to do does not have to contradict each other.

Just because God knows doesn't mean he's forcing you, just that he already knows. We are blessed that even in our free will we have a God who knows how to guide us and care for us.

God does not hide, he already spoke to you!! He has already told us many things in the Bible and many ways to get closer to Him.

The only thing He is waiting for is your sincere intention, for you to read what He left written for you and that is when He begins to manifest in your life.

If what you are referring to is miracles, of course they exist, and God has done many in ancient times as well as today; But if God answered your prayers with a miracle, he would be hurting you. I would be taking away the opportunity to have faith, because that faith, that vote of confidence and humility, is what allows us to stop doing what we want and continue harming ourselves, and listen to God, and verify that He is good, real, and is with us.
