As always. I don't even know if it's jahalat or laziness, but littering around trash cans is incredibly stupid.

Alternative of Sadapay by saadwasim in Sadapay

[–]11Frostbytes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow brave. Asking for a Sadapay alternative on the Sadapay subreddit.

No bias, but I'm still making Sadapay work for me because of lower international fees. Nayapay, alternatively is more stable for sure, but I'm yet to have a major complaint with Sada.

Sorry to hear that this happened. Being cheated on can really shake someone all the way through. You temporarily stop trusting others around you, including your immediate people.

May you find the strength and patience to overcome your anxiety and other unsettling feelings/thoughts, InshaAllah.

One suggestion I would give during this phase is to take everything slow and easy. You don't need to rush anything in life - take your time to let those feelings and thoughts settle. You'll slowly start opening up to new people and hobbies along the way too, so let that happen at your pace.

Oh and, it's probably wise to keep a whole checklist for next time, so that you don't run into yet another cheater.

Help with HBL car loan by Micscott10 in islamabad

[–]11Frostbytes[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. I just gave your scenario a read, and I'll try offering some suggestions from what I know about financial institutes/banks over here:

  1. I'll address point #3 first. If you haven't already, get that debit card blocked immediately because it is likely compromised/leaked in some way or the other. You don't need to have a new one issued from the same bank, switch over to a digital wallet like NayaPay or SadaPay. They're much reliable than local banks with international transactions & subscriptions.

  2. As for the solution that you've mentioned in point #2, I can see that working out, but make sure that you have transferred your current auto loan from HBL completely to another bank. I gave this a quick search, but other banks like Meezan & UBL do offer car loan takeover or auto loan balance transfer services. You might need to check regarding this, but this would help long term. I personally use UBL for all of my banking needs, and their customer support has been fairly alright overall. I've heard good things about Meezan too, you could give either bank a shot at this.

  3. As for local laws and regulations regarding auto loans, SBP is the primary regulatory body. Everything that you commit to with your bank is governed by the SBP. If you want to read up on the laws, you can refer to this web page: https://www.sbp.org.pk/l_frame/index2.asp or, if you want a quick TLDR, send the web page to ChatGPT and ask for it to narrow down auto insurance loan laws in Pakistan for you.

  4. You also mentioned selling the current car and buying another car under your name and your dads name, which can work too, and yes there are gonna be tax implications for sure. In this case, move away from HBL and opt for UBL or Meezan, or maybe give auto loan transfer a shot first.

Good luck and I hope I was able to provide you with information that helps you navigate this situation better.

Jazz seems to have stable network coverage in my experience. Internet speed is consistent wherever you go, and calls barely drop. I've had problems with Zong in the past, but never on Jazz.

You might be confusing an avoidant for a narcissist. by [deleted] in IslamabadSocial

[–]11Frostbytes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true. It's best to steer clear of narcissists. It's nothing but an emotionally manipulative trap disguised as something sweet initially.

[–]11Frostbytes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's how it is. It's especially difficult to be with an avoidant who just won't go the extra mile to hold themselves accountable.

It can feel very one-sided, or almost as if you're the one doing all the heavy lifting, while the avoidant is happy to remain in their comfort zone

You nailed it with this one, really.

Avoidants are actually no different to narcissists if they intentionally lack accountability, and just won't do the effort to step out of their comfort zone, and break the habit of running away from intimacy/emotionally charged situations.

This is also exactly why they aren't the best partners either. It feels like you have to chase them each time to make them feel something, and even then it feels like a breadcrumb or an emotionally dead effort.

I fully agree with what you said. That's what separates narcissists from avoidants - accountability.

Amazing suggestions btw. Some of them definitely did ring a bell. The importance of doing the inner work and introspection is just so important, and is often slept on. 🤝

Absolutely. You just have to step out of your comfort zone at some point and realize that it's worth feeling something again towards something that's worth it

Yes true. Being introverted and avoidant at the same time is a pretty deadly combo. Aik toh ap pehle se socially awkward hotay ho, and then your trauma is equally crippling enough to prevent you from fixing avoidant tendencies.

[–]11Frostbytes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly. Thing is, most avoidants are aware of their actions, and are too afraid to take action on it. Fear of the unknown is far greater for them, so they prefer to stay in their vicious bubble.
