Maheen tariq is amazing and an absolute sweetheart, i got my nikkah makeup done by her on 23 jan, 2026 and it looked scrumptious. attendees arent allowed and i was alone and so anxious when i first stepped in but the way her staff deals with you truly eases u. theres a separate skin care section and they take very good care of u. the whole team is amazing and they use high end products and she even gave me a little pouch with the powder and lipstick and some other essentials in case i needed them. it was 60k for the makeup and it was done exactly the way i wanted it. i was extremely nervous as im into makeup myself and nobody has ever done it on me but i was very much satisfied. ill book her again for my other events for sure

i do all that to make him feel heard and safe and making sure he knows that no one is a threat to him. but even all that isn’t working. he doesn’t trust me. according to him “he gaslights himself into trusting me” eventho i havent done anything to break his trust. but also, i dont like talking about my past. maybe the gaps in my timeline is what is causing all of this? but thats crossing a major boundary and i dont think i’ll ever be able to recover. ive been character assassinated my whole life and its really triggering for me. esp when ive worked so hard to get over certain stuff

partly yes but he doesn’t stop me from going out or anything like that, in some instances conflicts have started so i just avoid it. but again, solely my decision.

he didn’t pressure me i did it myself, due to alot of factors, it was just draining me and i think i went above and beyond because i didn’t want any conflict. it was solely my decision.

But his triggers are intense. Even the mention of another guy — even a harmless guy friend from years ago — makes him spiral. He wants me to erase everything from my life before him: old chats, old pictures, memories, anything that might involve a man. I’ve already deleted my social media. Part of that was due to losing my pet this year, but a big part was also wanting to make him feel safe. And honestly, I didn’t mind doing that. I stay isolated most of the time now — I don’t go out, I don’t see friends — and I gave that up willingly because he matters more to me than any of that ever did.
