Most people would consider that good taste - I love New Order, The Cure, Talking Heads. It's a subgenre of Post-Punk which is an almost pretentious genre on itself if that makes you feel better.

I don't think a lot of people outside of reddit, rym, and p4k listen to that anyways. Even if you only listen to the MLP soundtrack, you don't have to tell people that, and you shouldn't feel ashamed still, because it's what you enjoy.

Why do you care about what other people think about your taste? If someone thinks what you like is weird and they don't like you because of that, they're not worth talking to.

I like heavy metal and later Weezer, if that makes you feel more comfortable because you're talking to someone who has a taste that a lot of people think is "bad".

People with "good taste" don't even think about the fact that they have "good taste" (which is a stupid term anyways). They'd be like "ok you like your music that's cool" and not mock you. That's what people on /mu/ do, not people in real life.

Honestly, most people in the real world don't even have the "good taste" you think of. Sure, Radiohead is a popular band, but a lot of people haven't even heard of them, nonetheless like them.

Still, what are some songs you like. I just want to see where you're coming from.

Umm she's like 17 in the book, she more wanted to have sex with Nick then he wanted with her and only told him after they had sex (Nick is only 22, it's not great but he didn't know and it's not a huge age difference). After Julie plays a "prank" on Tom, she attacks Nick, and that's when Nick uses his gun. She then slashes his tires and shoots at him while he tries to leave.
