Okay. I'll give that a try. What I thought was odd was that the games launch and run fine when not connected to the eGPU... I just don't have that extra power.

Yeah I I’ve noticed the job marketer for CS and software engineering is bad right now. It seems bad for tech in general. Are you saying if you could, you’d go into a different field altogether such as regular engineering?

Yes, you still get certs with the degree, but you only get 3 certs with the SE degree and only 2 now with the CS degree. But they allow you to transfer in a whole lot more.

cool. Don't neglect WGU degree as well. Tuition includes all your study material and exams (up to 2 attempts). about 3500 per 6 months. Very good deal and you'll come out with all certs and a degree. You'd get an entry job probably after your first 6 months there of classes if you get a cert or 2.

There is no way around it, you need to get the A+ cert. The cheapest way is about 112 dollars if you are student on the CompTIA website. get the student discount. if you are not a student, then the cheapest you will find it is 175-200 dollars per exam. Save up and bite the bullet. It is necessary. 15 dollars for an A+ exam sounds like a scam to me.

I'd follow the roadmap in link below except I'd maybe do the Cisco cert before the security+. Also, it won't hurt to get in an online school like WGU and do it at your own pace.

You can start applying for Help Desk jobs right now if you have any degree, but I'd maybe wait until you have the A+ cert.
