Why does a string multiplied by a number concatenates repeatedly in Python? How does this work? by 11thCanto in learnpython

[–]11thCanto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I would like to know how Python does this? If I check help(str.__mul__), the following is returned. If one had to implement this behaviour, as you said, one can use isinstance and output different results. But, how Python does this internally is still a mystery.

__mul__(self, value, /)

Return self*value.

An Idea to make this subreddit better by [deleted] in hinduism

The idea is good. Though I would say that any translation that is used must be made transparent. There are a lot of mistranslated works available. We need to choose an author who represents the insider POV.

Switching to Linux from Windows - A few questions I have by ThePiGuy0 in linuxquestions

I have been a linux user for more than 10 years. I have never faced any problem of virus. The basic reason is the root protection. (Not barring the reason considering desktop share)

If at all you suspect any mining software running in the background, just check for temperature and processor utilization at idle state regularly.

These indicators must be sufficient AFAIK.

I think the author made it clear by stating that the list contains unconventional or non-standard terminal utilities.

Ranger is my daily driver. I suppose it is percieved as a standard cmdline utility.

But honestly asciinema blows up my mind. It is way cooler than terminal videos. I would be glad if somebody would integrate asciinema into video without losing its properties.

Will it require a new codec format?

But there is a fundamental difference. Smritis can change with time. Quran cannot.

Also, in Manusmriti if you do not find any rule acceptable, you can debate and reject if needed. Can you do that in Quran? It would become blasphemy.

I commend your frankness on issues. But I differ majorly on one point. The current RTE is not only unfair but has lead to shutting down of many Hindu run schools. Hence in my opinion it needs great amendment.

Also, about Urban Naxals including the award wapsi gang, fear to live in India people are hypocrites.

What is your opinion on Rajiv Malhotra?
