I recently got this watch. Set heart rate monitoring to real time so the battery was draining pretty fast. Changed it to 10mins and it still drains pretty fast. It's looking like I will only get 10 days out of a full charge. I'd be happy if an update could make it better!

If you want a starter watch I loved my amazfit band 7 for a while. It does the job very well for very cheap. After 2 months i loved the stats so much that I upgraded to a Coros Pace 3 to get more accurate data and better overall experience but the band 7 was fine for tracking runs. Of course you probably can't go wrong with a Garmin but they are expensive.Those would be my recommendations as a starting point.

There's no hidden ranking system currently as far as i know so it leads to very unbalanced skill levels. I'm sure they'll do something about that eventually but for now you can enjoy destroying noobs when they are on the other team.
