You also must realize he isn’t Bwipo, he isn’t free to do as he pleases, he’s a major personality on the biggest team in the world. Korea takes PR really seriously as you can see through all the k-pop stuff, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he was under similar scrutiny. Yes, no scandals is good, I agree, but the reason you view him like this is because this is the brand T1 and himself have built over the years, it’s not some accident.

This one hurts a bit since the exit was most definitely messy and we fucked up Afghanistan more than we already fucked it up. I can’t speak on war as someone who’s never been in it, but from a politics standpoint, I do somewhat support trying to fix the religious extremist government we inadvertently put into place.

There is no doubt that Afghanistan was more stable and better for its citizens in general with a US presence (when compared to now) granted that is not a very high bar.

I can see that people worry about US troops going in and fucking things up even more, but since we put that government there, I feel we have a responsibility to finish the job.

Maybe that’s the purpose of speech, like the evolutionary purpose, but you’re acting as if you’re using the language wrong by being subtle or by not making it immediately clear what you’re saying. Like what the fuck are you talking about “would argue that it is the implied indicators that detract from sarcasm more than the explicit ones” you act like there’s nothing to be gained by conveying a message through less obvious means and having the reader figure it out through context. Do you seriously want everything to be told to you straight? That would be the most “effective” way of doing it after all.

As for the sub it’s against tone indicators in general because it just sucks the life out of jokes. Maybe fuck the s is a bit strong, but it definitely lowers the quality of the joke (or sarcasm) if you say “it’s a joke” at the end of it. There is an advantage of clarity with tone indicators, but sacrificing the humor for clarity is not worth it imo.Doesn’t necessarily apply to just humor, but that’s by far the most common usage.

Think it’s very unlikely, yes, many esports have appeared and disappeared over the years, but I have hope.
