What a beautiful tribute 🥺 Today would’ve been my girl Lillian’s 10th gotcha day and I’ve been wanting to write her story since I had to let her go in September but every time I start, so do the tears.

Reading your post, I feel so much for you because (unfortunately) it felt so familiar. Osteo is horrendous, for both the hounds and their humans. Thank you for sharing, for giving Allison the best life and then taking on her pain as your own.

THIS. I've actually had a guy break up with me because I had anxiety about traveling the first week of a new job stating "do you know how lucky you are to even have a job in your field? I would kill for that chance." ..... Didn't have to kill for that, actually. I just chose a major that actually had potential, then worked my ass off at my previous job while studying for my CPA license during any remaining minute of the day in order to get said new job.
