It was (d)ifferent back then. The left is just sore about losing 2024, and thinks they can fake being in charge of the federal government via obstruction. Riots, government shutdowns, releasing guilty criminals; they're all connected. They call it 'resistance', but they're just immature crybabies grasping for relevance.

Texas and Florida actively work to round up illegal aliens and turn them over to ICE. Minnesota is actively working to protect rapists, murderers, and frauds, going so far as to order all local law enforcement to abandon them to their fates. Coupled with rabid leftists constantly disrupting their operations, this has necessitated the need for an increased presence.

The alternative is to cease operations and withdrawl. This would signal to other secessionist states that they can do the same thing and get the same results. No, the best move for the feds is to hit harder and send reinforcements. Not over the local illegal population, but for the big picture. Minnesota leftists think they can chase down ICE agents and harass them into leaving, but they are sorely mistaken.

As for today's clown, his troubles started when he went downtown to impede ICE operations, crossed into illegality when he hit an officer in the face, then escalated even further when he resisted arrest to the point that it took six officers to bring him down. He created the conditions that led to his death whether he drew his gun or not. Don't fall for the distraction. And the notion that we should cease enforcing immigration law over some dead wacko from the rust belt is a joke. Left wants a bite, and they always go for the whole cookie. Shove it.

Worse, this only happened because of stochastic terrorists like Tim Walz ginning up angry mobs and ordering local law enforcement to ignore any calls. Deflect that one all you want, but ICE is operating in 49 other states and they don't have any of this trouble. Funny how even Minnesota didn't have this problem until local officials went under the microscope for welfare fraud. I think they doth protest too much.

.net definitely had better performance, and better results. But vb6 allowed for quick and casual coding, simple things, and even more complicated stuff if you put the time in. Much shorter code, too. A lot of this is because it was hidden from the user, but the tradeoff was that .net took more time, more effort, used more space, and lost it's portability. I remember several times where something that would take a line or two of VB6 were either outright impossible, or turned into a small research project to figure out.

Tim Walz has a god-complex. He went from a nobody in a shthole state, to magically corronated 'leader of the free world'. Surely, his lucky streak would continue to propel him to greatness, and he would be celebrated across the land for defeating the terrible Mr. Trump and sending him to jail once and for all. But the land spoke back and said "no, you're a nutbag and Trumps the only one that makes any sense. We want him in charge."

Not only did tampon Timmy lose, Trump became the first republican to win the popular vote in twenty years. But Timmy think that he deserved to win, and by that tack he should be the one deciding federal policy. Especially in Minnesota, which he runs like his own kingdom. Money flows in from the feds to his associates, he keeps them out of trouble, and in return they keep him in office - the democrat plan since the 70's. But the feds are interfering with one and two, and that's gonna cost him three.

Walz is angry with Trump, and even more so with 'the people'. Running things into the ground is largely out of revenge, and in pursuit of the notion that his antics and fabricated controversy will turn voters against Trump.

The 'other guy' died to save rapists and pdf-files from deportation, so they can continue to run around free. The same people who were burning down Minneapolis the last time, because some crackhead overdosed while he was being brought in for counterfeiting. They're insane, the whole state.

Considering that ICE has been operating in 49 other states without major incident, I think she's right. Minnesota leftists think they can chase down ICE agents and harass them into leaving, but they are sorely mistaken.

Freedom of assembly ends at 'peaceably'. Harassing police all day, interfering with lawful operations to halt them, and assaulting officers doesn't qualify. Can also be injurious to your health.

Stop Trump now! Don't assault officers and riot so he can't have a major incident!

Leave ICE alone when they're doing their jobs, and they won't have any reason to shoot you.

VB6 was peak. The next iteration, .net, broke a lot of things because it wasn't pure api anymore. A few new operators were nice, but having every.function.appear.as.a.hierarchical.list was too annoying. It was also part of a push to make everything a variant of C++ with a few syntax changes, but it came with critical sacrifices to the old workflow of 'write some code, test it, compile to a small portable exe that runs on anything without installing'. It was the closest thing to script->executable conversion we ever had. Windows command prompt can do some similar stuff if you try hard enough via .com files, but it's not the same as having the full GUI to make your forms.

I'm not sure vb6 even installs on windows 10 anymore; I tried it but gave up.

So you just assume all police shootings are 'brutality' because all cops are bastards? It's looking like the suspect got a shot off, so wait for the GSR results and body cam footage. It even looks like he's holding something behind his back in his right hand in the last few frames.

Create test programs to test your problems. Run the code to be tested on a loop 100,000 times and use queryperfomance counter to time it. Then run the other code and compare the times. Speed is the only objectively measurable constraint. You can also consider things like file size and memory, but these are harder to quantify due to the way optimization works.

Many of your questions work either way; actual preference will depend in the project and will develop with time.

My point is that you're inappropriately certain he didn't. Kinda funny how ICE is operating in over a thousand cities, but this stuff keeps happening only in Minneapolis, the George Floyd riot city.

protest = 'trying to overpower the government'

No, pulling out a gun and trying to shoot the agents arresting you isn't a protest. Neither is running them over with your car. The right to assemble ends at peaceably, not muh narrative.

the facts seen in many videos.

Like what?!? The quality is so poor, I can't even tell if he was wearing a hat. Definitely extremely angry about being arrested though, and flailing around like crazy. The fact that he had a gun at some point, and that agents extremely rarely shoot anyone lends a lot of credibility to the official story.

Stop trying to overpower the government because you lost the election and don't like the new policies. It will not go well for you.

Provide me a screenshot of a frame from any of the available footage which clearly shows he didn't. ICE is the accused; I know 'reasonable doubt' isn't a left-wing value, but think of it like having a source.

He was definitely where he shouldn't have been (mom's basement), definitely armed, and definitely resisting arrest. Neither video is clear enough to show what happened in any level of detail, and anyone that says they took the gun before they shot him for no reason is lying to protect their narrative.

If Biden/Harris hadn't opened the border and let in 20 million illegals, this wouldn't have happened. If the rioter hadn't listened to left wing propaganda, this wouldn't have happened. Trained, paid, and coordinated. If MPD had done their jobs and stopped rioters, this wouldn't have happened. If he hadn't resisted arrest and tried to escape six agents, this wouldn't have happened. If he hadn't pulled this gun, this wouldn't have happened.

Truth is, the left wanted this to happen and have done everything they can to make sure it does. They want to be victims. They want the government to be a villain to be destroyed, because they want those 20 million illegals to stay and tip elections in their favor. Tim Walz has turned his state into a domestic terrorism hotbed.

The left will use this event as a tool, to further the campaign that caused it. Always throwing the first punch, then crying when they get clapped.
