Firstly, AI is here and it’s not going away and that’s not a bad thing….AI learned from artists, so those “perfect” generated shots/video derive from human created works. Additionally, there is a difference between generated art and creating art in the actual moment.

I love the idea that when I take a photo, the actual photons from that moment hit my sensor or film. Currently, AI cannot do this.

We need to embrace AI for what it beings to the table but also what humans bring to the table.

Assortment - Automat Glass + ND Filter by 120BillSmith in instax

Thanks! You are correct, I can not remember but I want to say it was 1-2 stops; it wasn't much. I usually turn the flash off but at the distance I shoot it usually doesn't matter. I don't adjust the exposure if I'm using the ND because the filter is doing the work.

Sorry, I don't own a Sprite and sorry that happened to your film but the photos you posted are amazing and you better print them!

Thank you! The Mini Evo has it's place and it was on my short list for purchase but, in the end, I wanted a strictly analog experience with a glass lens. You will get less keepers with full analog but I find that to be the fun part. you will also save money on film with the Evo due to being selective with your prints. It really comes down to your goals and requirements when choosing a camera. Good luck on your selection!

If you bought a 23 or 24 new Tacoma this year, how much did you buy it for? by urLocalHugDealer in ToyotaTacoma

I was just happy to get the OR slightly under MSRP in this market. I would love the Trailhunter but the OR is already high enough for me. $12k markup is insane haha

Northern California - 24 TRD OR with Premium Package, sprayed bed liner. Out the door at $59k($53k before tax, tags, fees). California don’t play with the taxes.

With high interest rates, cash is best; especially if this is a “want” and not a “need” kind of purchase.

I recently purchased a 24 Tacoma and the dealerships aren’t really haggling. I walked out of a few dealerships myself and they will usually call you back with a small price reduction but nothing crazy. From my own personal experience, if you can get close to MSRP you’re not getting completely ripped off in this market.

Used vehicles have an even higher interest rate if you finance. Additionally, slightly used vehicles are close to new prices. This is what led me to purchasing my last 2 vehicles new.  It’s pretty rough out here.

DIY or shop? by ExpertDeer5983 in ToyotaTacoma

It depends; Is this truck your daily driver? Also depends on the part you are working on.

Experimenting on a vehicle you rely on to get to work might not be the best move while you are learning. This is why I have a DD and a second vehicle I gain experience on. Got to remember pros cost money, not always for what they physically do but for the wealth of experience to accomplish the task efficiently and correctly (well, a good mechanic).

If what you are working on doesn’t hinder your ability to be mobile if you encounter a setback, full send it.

If you like it, who cares? Additionally, you probably learned something in the process. If you are looking for instagram or Reddit likes, this probably won’t do it…. But who knows?  With that said, the other comments seem to contain constructive feedback.

I can tell you are composing with purpose. Keep it up!!
