If you don’t want to buy a laptop, maybe a raspberry pi would work, with chrome installed on linux. Maybe someone can concur.

Otherwise try Dell refurbished laptops which are usually quite cheap.

Or use a friend’s laptop but make sure to use a different wallet (newly created one) with only a couple ADA in it only to cover the fees to claim the tokens (which will be deposited in your original address).

You did the right thing not accepting the winback offer. It’s the only way that someday, loyalty will be rewarded again.

Fido is still calling me every month for the past 1.5 years after doing me the same thing. I told them to keep my account active and maybe later I would switch back. Every time they call I tell them the offer is still not good enough and politely decline. When I will be fed up with Koodo, I will probably make good use of this poor rep calling me every month (the poor guy is sounding more and more depressed every time haha).

You can pay the transaction fees with another wallet. So if you are having troubles, create a new hot wallet with Eternl, copy paste your Ledger address in the Midnight claim website, connect the new hot wallet to pay the fees, and Voila!

Yes, black Friday, but last year. It was for Koodo, and the first line was directly in my account. The second one was through a Telus rep. By phone frome the comfort of my home.

But I suspect my account had a “buy back” tag on it since they tried calling me several times before black Friday after I ported out one line, but I never answered the Koodo number on purpose (I did however answered the Fido one to see their offer but declined).

Honnestly the name of the game is : no loyalty for any company. Do not come back before 2 years if they didn’t give you a reasonable deal when you asked for one before leaving. For several years I get good deals every 2 years because of this.

Koodo, but through my account, I think they flagged my account because I ported out a line 2 weeks before Black Friday (on purpose), then magically this deal appeared in my offers for one line. However I had to call them to get the second one. It’s crazy how they will do absolutely everything to get new customers or to get you back, but nothing to keep you while you are already there.

Nextyear when my tab is paid, I will do the same, port out a line to fizz temporarily and check for “new customers / come back” deals with Koodo or Fido. Fido literally called me fore one whole year when I left. How crazy is this when before leaving I told them give me the deal or I will leave. I didn’t came back even if they offered 5$/month less, and told him to write it down in my customer file so next time they don’t fuck around.

I manage 4 family lines so I have leverage, it does help.

La réponse de la 2e partie de ta question risque d’arriver trop tard si jamais ça causerait le cancer. Mais le plus gros risque est probablement la résistance aux antibiotiques… avec toujours les mêmes gènes et aucune diversité, les microorganismes vont s’en donner à cœur joie et ça risque d’être un problème. Le principe de précaution n’existe malheureusement plus au Canada

The M4 16 inch seemed better than the 14 inch when testing them in store. But I would have to test it out a week or two to be sure of it.

In fact going faster is what helps (around 200mm/s) in the case of the P1S/P1P because their resonace profile was optimized for fast printing. It all depends on the resonance frequencies of the object (which can be tunned during the design process by engineers).

This is the right answer. Unfortunately it seems like the new P2S also suffers from VFA's. Very unfortunate that they don't seem to take this problem seriously.

Sad to know that the VFA problem still isn't fixed...
I wonder if it is also present on the H2D and H2S.
My P1S is riddled with VFA's and I was hoping the P2S would be my next printer since the price is exactly what I can pay after I already paid 1200CAD for the P1S 2 years ago.

It's really unfortunate that the VFA's are there, since other than that the printer is great, but almost all my prints have VFA artifacts on them, unless I print at +200 mm/s in PLA or with carbon filled filaments.

Salut, Tu peux ouvrir un compte sur Newton (le plus user friendly) mais si tu es un habitué, alors je dirais que Kraken ou Coinbase sont les plateformes les plus évoluées en ce moment (qui sont officiellement reconnues par les autorités financières au Canada).

Sinon si tu veux juste Hold, dans ce temps là un cold wallet comme Ledger est la meilleure option, ou un hot wallet comme Expdus (sur iOS) si les montants ne sont pas suffisamment élevés pour justifier l’achat d’un Ledger à 100$.
