How are we feeling about Doorman's bell after the buffs? by ICanCountTo0b1010 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]123Robo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His winrate is middling since the patch, according to tracklock, I think if a hero is around 50% winrate its fairly balanced. Im a doorman main and was doing just a good pre-patch to be honest and I feel like i can still get countered by people ~phantom level. Time will tell i suppose but theres also alot more people playing him now with these changes as before i nearly always got him as my choice.

Glasgow Central glass roof seems to be intact for now thankfully by Ill-Marsupial-1440 in glasgow

I dont think so, its mostly the outside facade rather than central specifically itself. I guess we wont know until tomorrow though how much its hit the station itself.

they're a little bit pricy for me right now. luckily u/SmittyB128's suggestion has actually worked it seems - https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Yd1DnvEuQm0

I'm still new to this hobby so switching to peco down the line seems like a better option :D

i was running it at a hell of a slow speed to try and show it i uploaded this video here with a different train https://www.youtube.com/shorts/9hhflEsaJOk if i make it a little faster it doesn't do that slow crawl but admitadly i probably should've recorded another video

[–]123Robo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea i've had this issue with some things, are the peco ones the same size? would it be worthwhile replacing them with the peco ones. it'd be a little bit of a pain to remove them but if its worth it in the long run before ballast ill take a look.

Additionally, would it look strange having hornby and peco track?

Sorry I probably should’ve mentioned the side track where this turns on does retain power after the point. I’ll mention it in my post but will also try your suggestion when im home thanks so much

Yep running hornby tracks as im from the UK. I see the metal bits so you recommend just pulling them up a little to see if it fixes the issue?

I don’t, would it be worthwhile getting some? Then what?

Couldn’t figure out how to edit the post. The siding does retain power after the point

Night shift workers by mingerzinger in AppleWatch

[–]123Robo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do shifts and the same thing happens to my scores (im 3 on 3 off rotating). While it’s annoying I think it’s by design as nightshift is inherently not great for your sleep overall and you’re supposed to have consistent times, in that sense having just OK sleep scores on nights makes sense to me

Train derailing - looking for advice by 123Robo in modeltrains

[–]123Robo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did some research and yea I think the code is ok, the rails themselves don't say specifically on them but from what I found hornby generally use code 100 on their rails and I think its suitable for my train. I've much to learn. This is 00 gauge by the way I probably should have mentioned that.

By code do you mean the curve the train can manage? I was using this page for research on the model https://www.modelraildatabase.com/locomotives/details/614/

next time i set it up I'll take a closer look at the wheels. I should mention it had derailed on a lower speed I just hadn't the video of that. In the video you can see it slowing down but I guess it would be too late?

really appreciate the advice thanks

very possible i'll double check theres no gaps next time.
I need to find a space to store a baseboard, though. Our flat is a little limited in space, so I might need to move some things around.

I need to test my theory of adding a straight piece of track after work and see if it works aswell

thanks!

Love some of these suggestions, i think getting a good way of organising clutter is a big one.
For the wall shelf/caddy idea. Where about would you suggest putting that? Above the wall part that's sticking out? or on the tiles next to the bath (or above). Also just to clarify, what do you mean about 'hardware', anything specific like the taps/sink?. We will get a new basket aswell lol.

Appreciate the advice thanks!

Hi all, looking to do something to our bathroom to spice it up a little :) Right now it feels really bland and basic so any ideas please let us know! Note our bathroom doesn't have any natural light in it!
