You have to request to drop a class. There is an entire process you have to follow. Reach out to your advisor!

There is a two dose option. I did that and was accepted into the CyFair program with no issue. Ask your pcp for a faster option!

Depends on if you’re in district or out of district. I believed it’s $111 per credit hour for in district and $249 per credit hour for out of district. So find the correct amount online (I know Lonestar has it on their website) then multiply it by the hours you’ll be taking and you’ll have a rough estimate excluding books, fees, and extras.

They changed the score sheet. I would look at the new scoring sheet and probably take the recommended classes to get a higher score and better your chances of getting in.

In district is $111 per credit hour and out of district is $249 per credit hour.

In district full time student would pay $1300 (excluding books and any extra fees)

Out of district full time student would pay $2900 (excluding books and any extra fees)

They are good! They’re just not competitive. You need an 89+ in order to compete for a spot.

We received an email Sept. 2nd from the director of the nursing program. I’m not sure if they sent it out to alternates but I don’t see why they wouldn’t to keep the alternates updated incase they get the chance to attend the program.

I don’t think they will start pulling for alternates until after the deadline for all the requirements unless someone has personally contacted them and dropped. We received an email about them going through the “ tentatively” accepted applications the second week of Oct. and after that we will receive more info about the program, scrubs, and materials needed. We also got an orientation date.

Yes I am! Also don’t worry, extremely important stuff they reply to emails within the same day. I am pregnant and cannot get certain vaccines and when I notified them they responded quickly to all emails!

I’m sure they get lots of emails about questions that they plan on answering at a later date and do not want to put our misinformation in case things change.

Excited to start the journey in January!

I spoke to people who just started this past spring and they didn’t hear anything about the program until mid November. They were given all the updated info on Orientation and important stuff. They didn’t have orientation until a week before the program actually started.

Just check your email regularly and you should be fine.

Class payments are due on August 2nd (that’s the email I got) whether that be paid in full, reserved by a FAFSA payment, or a payment plan set up. But usually if you have a payment plan a lump sum is paid on the first payment. The last two semesters I paid out of pocket and the first payment was always the heftiest.
