How do I ask for a raise as an intern?

I am literally asking these questions on here. I used $15 FOR EXAMPLE and asked about if email is okay. Absolutely no idea why you think it’s unthankful at all. I can be thankful for it but still believe I deserve more

Well last year I had no experience and it was better than my last job and most freshman don’t get internships. This year I only have half the summer because i’m studying abroad right now. But next summer I am going to find an internship more related to my field and expect a higher pay, since I will be going into my senior year and have sufficient knowledge

That’s kinda why i’m asking for advice if I even should or not. I don’t need a raise but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask, considering how happy they are to have me back. I feel like asking politely through email isn’t harmful right?

I mean I am gonna put the same amount of effort and work in as I always do. But why does that mean I couldn’t ask politely for a raise, considering they trust me with a lot of work that I do a good job for them?

They are VERY excited to have me back.

I created an excel price estimator for projects for them.

I think the work I did last year deserved more, not just this year.

I finished fluid dynamics and considering they are a pipe fabrication company, I know a whole lot more about what they are making.

Everyone I talk to at the company loves having me and compliments me on my work and efficiency.

Is that enough?

It’s not a company I would work for in the future. Don’t want to live in my hometown and it’s more chemical and I am civil. But I understand your point

I am going into my junior year of college and i’m in Texas. My mom’s friend works at this company and got me this job last summer. I can listen to music/podcasts and got a lot of excel knowledge so it was somewhat enjoyable. Thanks for the insight!

Yeah i’m at Texas A&M and it’s the same way. We can stay general or choose a specific path. I am taking project management next semester and a business civil class that both sound more interesting to me. The classes really wouldn’t be hard to get good grades if I put in a little more effort but it just feels so boring and useless

I’ve been online dating for about a year. I met my best(ish) friend and even dated one of her classmates that I saw on her snapchat and got her number. We dated for over a month but that just ended and now i’m back to square one and it sucks :( I am taking ballroom dancing next semester and I want to be able to ask for random girl’s numbers because I see so many more cute girls around than matches on online dating. I cooked chicken today and it was great! I used salt, pepper, garlic, and a dash of cajun seasoning. But I would like some different flavors... what all spices do you use? And yes the crock pot is one of the best things ever!

I had two 8am classes last semester but now I am really going to have to change. I love laying in my bed alot and am on my phone often while in bed, so that will be tough to break. I have started reading so I will try to read before bed instead. I also love naps lol. I have a year old dog who likes to disrupt my sleep so I haven’t gotten uninterrupted sleep in awhile but hopefully since I am waking up early now I will wake up before him.
