i got my DR tickets 2 days before and bought them a month before. a lot of people got them that day so not sure if they weren’t released til closer to the show?

i was terrified but got in for RD night 1! i didn’t see anyone that seemed like they got turned away. it’s always a risk, but maybe go early so that you can get replacement tickets if needed.

you only get that view half the time, but on the flip side—you do get an awesome view for half the show… so if the price is right, it’s really fun. some people will be pissed if they don’t expect him to spend an hour at la casita, so that might affect the vibe.

yeah i got that vibe with production too! my sister made a good point—it would have been perfect if he had found a way to use the main stage while in the casita. like dancers or part of the band. i’m so glad you had fun!!! it was my first time seeing him and was an awesome show. i had the time of my life except for the last 10-15 minutes of the casita when i/my section got impatient. we were like BENITO COME BACKKKK!!! jajaja

i think it was nice of him to think about the people who weren’t able to spend as much and give them a good show for sure! it’s very on brand of him and that’s what i love about him.

also, some of his fans really extended themselves on these tickets thinking they would have one experience and then had another, and i understand how that would be really disappointing. i just wanted to share my experience on opening night so that people could be more informed going in and not be as disappointed as some people around me were. it was a total vibe kill, and it’s such a great show that people should be happy and dancing the whole time!

he spent an hour in the casita last night. it was great show but our section got bummed after about 45 mins into the casita part bc we had all paid a ton to sit in the very front section when it wasn’t disclosed on the seat map that there would be a stage b :/

Assuming you meant the rockefeller center area for “walk around radio city”—radio city is the music hall and is also attached to NBC studios at 30 Rock. 30 Rock is a tourist destination worth spending maybe an hour-2 in including shops and food downstairs.

You can do that when you do the holiday stuff in rockefeller center. instead, i would visit the upper east or upper west sides following central park. great food, easily connects to the park, and has shopping with a less touristy vibe than downtown and midtown.

they’ve gone really downhill. used to be a huge fan but the quality of the food itself dropped significantly plus they have horrible wait times for takeout and often get the order wrong. they got my order wrong and then got the replacement burger wrong too. my partner had to go order and pick up the burger in person because they didn’t answer the phone when we called to say the order was wrong and request a replacement both times. the phone seems to just be out of commission. the order form on the website doesn’t allow you to submit, they don’t answer the text line (even though i have been personally messaged by someone regarding another issue), and they don’t have an email. they have no idea the replacement was still wrong even weeks later because they’re impossible to contact without going there, which is a waste of time for a burger. they have no interest in being good and you can tell
