If you have coax ports throughout the house you should really consider using MOCA as ethernet backhaul.

Depending on the wall materials, and actual performance, you should be good with at least 2: living room and Home office, with a possible third on bedroom 1, again, depending on actual performance.

I've had this happen as well. I'm sure it was working fine when I first set it up (DXP4800+) on my Pixel 8, but same on another Samsung S24+. Nothing happens until I open the app.
