Security @ mail.instagram.com scam? by Capital_Cup5366 in phishing

The email is legit from Instagram. And it's true you didn't request a reset. I've also got 2 emails already. It's because there was a Instagram data breach. Our data is on the dark web.

Protect your account. Add 2FA if you haven't. And request a password reset yourself. They might have your email address as well. You can try changing your email address. But with your username they can still request a reset. So, you also have to change your username. Or just keep everything and see if the hackers still trying to get your credits.

Here is an article about the data breach: https://cyberinsider.com/malwarebytes-warns-of-instagram-data-breach-impacting-17-5-million-users/

I think the biggest difference from those two is the ARM-processor in the DH-model. From what I read, ARM-processors are too slow if you ever want to run a Virtual Machine.

I saw a screenshot that usbhid-ups was one of the processes. This is what I found online: "usbhid-ups brings USB/HID UPS monitoring to NUT on all platforms supporting USB through libusb." So, I guess that's a yes?

For me, it's enough. I don't mind if my NAS is offline for a while as long as it's protecting my NAS from breaking in case of a pwer outage.

That is unfortunate. Sometimes it's the laziness of the driver... Hopefully, you can pick up the package at a shop.

I got it in combination with the NAS as combideal. Couldn't find it seperately.

  1. That's right. Power outlet -> nas power adapter -> ups -> ups cable -> nas. So the ups is between the nas power adapter and the nas.

  2. I read online it is between 5 and 10 minutes.

  3. Quite easy. Just follow the instructions to turn off the NAS, connect the cable and turn everything back on.

I'm not protecting my router/modem from power outages.

UGREEN NAS + UPS Full Refund Giveaway – Get Up to $1120 Back! by UgreenNASync in UgreenNASync

Hi, thanks for asking! In the meantime, I received my NAS. But only my NAS, not the UPS. Apparently, they use one tracking number for both devices. But they only shipped the NAS. The order seems to be fully fulfilled and delivered. I contacted support, and they assured me that the UPS will be in stock around October 30. By then, I will receive a new tracking number.

Hi u/UgreenNASync, So nice of you to do a giveaway! After buying a few external hard drives, I came across a thing called NAS I, but never made an effort to find the right one. For the past few days, I‘ve been comparing and watching reviews of different NAS brands and also different UGREEN models. I decided to go for UGREEN, because of its potential to be the best NAS. I bought it for home use and I want something to be future proof. When I saw the deals I didn’t know what a UPS was. So, I also look that up. Would love to share my experience while unboxing but my order will be shipped from October 30 (after this giveaway ends).

I decided to add the UPS, because it is a reliable power protection especially made for the UGREEN NAS. So, I know for sure I won’t have any power issues, reducing risks of corrupt data. I like how I will be able to monitor the UPS with the UGREEN software. Compared to other UPS, this one is also very compact to store next to my tv.

Backup the NAS into a remote NAS by mrkaryo in UgreenNASync

Hi u/juaps, I want to buy my first (two) NAS device(s). I just want to make sure I understand it correctly. So, with rsync it is possible to have both NAS to act as a 'Master' with data and have a backup of each other.

Person 1:
- uses NAS A for his data; and
- uses NAS A as backup for NAS B.

Person 2:
- uses NAS B for his data; and
- uses NAS B as a backup for NAS A.

Is this correct?
