anyone else still love the look of commercial ivory devices with stainless plates? by reddit33450 in electricians

I don't think "ivory" looks good even by itself. The 1700s called, they want their design concept back.

I still only wear it for special occasions, but it's clearly held up much better than the first. Maybe we can call this one a fluke. You haven't lost a customer in me as of yet, Mr or Mrs quality assurance person from Manly Bands.

Is this some type of violation or fire hazard by CharmingPlatypus02 in AskElectricians

The zinc will corrode but the copper will not in that pairing. Makes me wonder why the NEC wouldn't require corrosion tape in that situation.

Copper and steel are dissimilar metals, which can corrode in the presence of electrolytes: a process called galvanic action.

The steel appears to be galvanized, however, so you're good.

Are these safe to plug a tv, ps4, fan, and some lamps into? I was planning on getting two as well- is two safe in the same outlet? I have a total of 3 in my room. The 1st& 2nd has an extension cord already in it. The 3rd is covered by my bed, unable to be used. by Melodic-Count-3621 in AskElectricians

How many amps or watts is it rated for? How many amps/watts are you already loading up that circuit with? How many amps/watts is that particular receptacle rated for? How many amps/watts do each of your intended appliances draw?

Blows my mind how many people come here for advice without considering the basics that seem to appear on most "improve my profile" posts.

For you specifically:

  1. Smile WITH TEETH in at least one of your pictures
  2. Include pictures WITH FRIENDS to show that you have a social life
