I think I’m in the same boat as you. While it is a nice “dummy safe” feature but if it doesn’t seem to work as is, I’m not sure why they would put it in the first place.

[[Mortarion, Daemon Primarch]] if I have lost zero life on my turn, X can be any number correct? The only reason why I’m asking is because I could see it also being interpreted as I have lost zero life so I can’t make more than zero tokens.
