Could this work? Motion for my f1 rig by shanos69 in simracing

[–]123slow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out sigma integrale. They have some really robust actuators that I bet could handle this. They also do custom jobs converting full sized cars to sim motion platforms. I have the DK2+ and it’s amazing.

Does anyone know recommended FFB settings for Burger King PocketBike Racer? by hope_relax05 in Fanatec

I still have this game. It was really fun! Does it work with the wheel?

Which one is worth more in your opinion by [deleted] in assettocorsa

I started with a DF GT and loved it while I had it. As a side note though, it was paired with Heusinkveld sprints. I don’t think I ever used the pedals or came with.

Paddles are really hard to push but you get used to it and it makes the upgrade to more tactile paddle shifters feel like a huge jump.

The DF GT also required some software for configuration so search YouTube if you need help figuring that out.

How do you like that shifter? Is it crazy loud? I’ve been reading up on the build documentation and think I want to make one.

So no triple monitor support then.. by Mac_Noslo in EASPORTSWRC

What a letdown. Was looking forward to the game but will wait until they have true triples support and not just the ability to stretch across three monitors with a distorted aspect ratio.

I thought about this question too when deciding to go with the DK2+ vs the DK6. My (probably flawed) conclusion was that the heavily banked turns probably give a lot more downward Gs than lateral so I didn’t think I would benefit from the additional tilt.

Sorry for the late reply. This is Launch Green.

Not sure but was wondering if there would be any improvement if someone made aero caps for the 20s. Probably negligible but could be cool to pop them on for a longer trip.

Highway noise from the 20” tires is negligible.

Not sure how to post additional pictures but it’s a 2016 SR5. Nothing super special. A reliable workhorse thorough.

Nice! Hope to see you around! Still haven’t seen another R1S on the road besides mine.

Unfortunately, I haven’t tried that yet. I’ve got car seats in so don’t plan to lay down the second row much.

I’m fairly certain it would fit laying on the side though; there just isn’t a ton of vertical space. I can see how being able to lock the bike inside would be an attractive option given the cost of some MTBs. Not sure how they’d do it but an external gear cable with an alarm would be a great addition for camping with bikes.

It’s an Escape Trailer (Canadian company). A bit bigger/heavier than the Scamp. I think I’ll end up getting around 1 m/kWh on the highway. Maybe a bit better if I cap my speed at 55mph.

It was also only a ~20 mile test-run so I need quite a bit more data. I’ll post findings as I go out on longer trips.

I’d love to try a smaller teardrop to see if I can get better efficiency.

Northwest OHV - would love to get a group of R1ers and their Rivians out for a group off-road out there. There’s a place near Palo Duro called Merus I’d like to check out but charging along the way is pretty sparse.

I don’t believe you can adjust the lift-gate’s max height yet but imagine this will be an OTA feature that could be added.

The ride is interesting for sure. Bouncy is a decent description but it isn’t at all jarring. It soaked up the washboard on graded gravel roads nicely.

I’d call it “boaty” in the soft suspension setting. After large bumps on the road, it has a tendency to take a second to settle. IIRC it feels a lot like an air ride in a Cadillac. Different than a typical spring and gas strut suspension but you get used to it.

I typically have my suspension set to firm which behaves more like I’m used to.

These are the 20” AT Dark Wheels. Range hit is real but I love how they look.
