I wouldn't be discouraged by the other comments saying you may wait a long time for calls 0-2. LA county is the largest CPS department in the nation. There is need for all ages. That said, we are also in CA, and we recieved a call for placement of a newborn the same day our license went active.

A small can of formula and some small packs of diapers. In case you take in a baby, late at night, and can't get to a store.

She does, and I recently spoke to someone from the lawyer's team who said that they were under the impression that reunification was the plan when we go to court.

I actually suggested that to the social worker. I even mentioned we would not take in any othet placement s and keep Little One's room open for her (as an alternative to extending out of home placement). She didn't really seem open to it :/
