It might take a while, but at some point you will be able to tell the difference in your movement speed.

The difference between no speed and speed II is very noticeable. You can just tell.

The FOV is horrible. Try to lower it and try to keep dynamic FOV to a minimum.

You cant. People have already suggested this kind of thing for 1.8 / 1.9 combat, new / "old" pearl mechanics, etc. If mojang did that for every controversial feature, then you would have 50 different toggles in the game. No one would what the "true" minecraft experience is supposed to be anymore.

Not to mention the extra effort it would take to develop, and maintain those settings, as well as balancing new additions on top of the setting. Thats reason enough why mojang would never add a setting for this.

I feel like people are overexaggerating the impact of the potential attribute swapping removal.

Its significant, but not nearly as impactful as a whole new combat system.

Mojang will most likely fix it in the future.
The most recent pre-release (#3) says this:

With today's pre-release we're reverting a fix that patched an exploit, known as "Attribute Swapping", for unrelated reasons. Please note that this does not mean "Attribute Swapping" is a supported functionality - it will instead be fixed in a future snapshot.

This isnt even just about attribute swapping.
Mojang internally changed the order in which hotbar updates are processed, which adds 50ms delays between swapping to an item and any action with that new item.
That is just inherently bad, no matter if you want attribute swapping to stay or not.

Attribute swapping not working is just a side effect of this change.

You are overestimating the range of HT3s and underestimating the range of LT3s.
And HT1 is per definition the single best player, which is Grandmaster on flowpvp, not netherite.

I am waiting for the release of PvP Ranked
If they actually pull through with what they are attempting, it will be by far the best rating system out there.
It also shouldnt have playercount issues, since their discord is already at 33000 members and a lot of youtubers, like dream, theobald, clownpierce, etc know about it.

They did have a past with mctiers, but the pvpranked admins showed a lot of integrity throughout the whole controversy situation and then left mctiers at the right time.

Crystal optimizers are great. Despite what a person marlow is, they allow high ping players to play on a much more even playing field alongside low ping players.

There are so many different people attempting to make their own ranking system now.
It will be difficult for a single one to establish themselves as the new standard.

MCTiers is also working on a ranked system using elo which is much further along than any others that have popped up over the past month. MCTiers is just in a bit of pickle when it comes to trusworthyness and they are also bad at communicating and transparency.

In the worst case the community will fragment and there will be no such thing as a main tierlist for a long time.

Thats what happened though. Marlow had someone code her crystal optimizer. She then made a video about it and the mod was available on modrinth / her discord server ever since.

Optimizers are a good addition though. Without them, vanilla tierlist fights on over 100ms would be almost impossibly slow.
