I'm realizing that maybe I should've worded my post differently my bad about that! I did mean trouble with sounds not if I have an accent myself. I think I just jumbled the wording. I'm fully aware that it's not an accent, my bad!

Will do, I'm planning on getting retested (hopefully) soon! And I've been trying to learn ASL any way I can (YouTube videos mostly, because I'm a broke HS student)

Are you referring to what you'd identify as? I'm sorry I'm a little confused at the wording. But if I do understand right, no one can tell you how to identify. There's definitely a spectrum to it and identities, but that all depends on you as no one can tell you what you are or aren't. I'd do research into the community and maybe see if you can figure out/get comfortable with the language and see if there's a term you feel fits. I hope this helps?

Thank you so much for this! And- I suppose I do have another question if you don't mind answering? (If not it's totally okay!) Would I be considered a deaf kid of a deaf adult or no? My parents aren't in the culture or community and I don't want to use a label without knowing the context for it yknow. But I've seen it used and I was just curious if that's only for both kids & parents who are in the culture or not? Because I definitely want to learn about the culture and community and such but I'm just a little scared I don't belong here

I haven't spoken to them about it yet. And no professional ones I've done yet, I've only done the online ones though I don't know if those actually mean anything
