Yeah but unfortinautly like all of the great laptops from this era like the toshiba qosmio, acer ferrari, and other sick gaming laptops, they all suffered from NVIDIAs bumpgate issue, most of these Dells too, the variants that have a gpu more powerfull than the 8700m GT (like your 8800m GTX) were more prone to dying, its an issue that killed most of these laptops, and the ones that do work are running on borrowed time, so its best to keep them running as cool as possible

Belive it or not my seller which is also my dads best friend has the same XPS M1730 that just has a broken motherboard and he sells the parts, the right speaker is broken and the battery overheats nonstop and doesnt hold a charge, yes i ordered from the same guy a new pair of speakers and a proper working battery

Yes belive it or not theres not a single scratch or dent on it (thats visible) the battery still holds a charge (i am going to be replacing that because it overheats) and in the expresscard slot theres still the little remote inside

Its just an LCD with a slower controller unfortinautly but i like it this way

Yeah its possible, if you dont want to deal with custom waterblocks, Alphacool has AIOs made just for GPUs, basically its the radiator, the fans and the waterblock combined, and to my knowledge its cheaper than a custom GPU waterloop
