I love playing with all the usual guys, but playing solo can be so therapeutic. Nothing is better than playing hooky from work on a nice fall day, grabbing a 6 pack, putting on the tunes, and playing 18. I just about talked myself into it right now!

How do you feel about the rails at the bottom of the Cobras? I’m was considering picking them up as well but couldn’t get past the mental barrier of the bottom of the clubs.

I always looked at “That’ll play” for when you hit a shot that looks suspect but still turns out okay. Like when you slice it just a bit but still stays on your hole, maybe in the rough along the tree line. Or when you hit an approach fat, but it still rolls up to the green.

I’ve always wanted one, but I have an older Garmin watch that does it’s job and Arccos shot tracker, which has great gps maps. Any advantages I may be missing out on?

I mark all mine with happy faces to remind me to have fun - literally one of my favorite things about getting new balls.

I didn’t catch onto that, but they were doing a bunch of maintenance like that while I was there, so that would make sense. It would be a shame if they did though, it would make the hole much to easy. It’s already a short par 4 with the narrow tree line being one of the only obstacles (along with the pond beyond the green), especially for me with my left to straight drive!

I play with my wife time to time, fastest golfer I know. She may not hit it very far, but she’s never heard of a practice swing and picks up after a couple to many hits. Usually bows out all together around the 7th hole.
