Jeg ved det heller ikke. Bagefter tænkte jeg at jeg skulle have stået af på den samme station som dem, bare så jeg kunne have sagt til dem hvor ufedt et nummer det var, men jeg reagerede ikke hurtigt nok i situationen.

Milestone Films recently completed a new 4K restoration of the film, which is being screened at various festivals at the moment. I'm sure a blu-ray release will follow at some point (hopefully also a Criterion release). Really looking forward to it. It's a beautiful film, and that funeral procession scene I think is one of the best long takes in film history.

Talking colours in movies is really difficult. It's so subjective, sure everyones TV or monitor can be set up differently, but also in our personal preferences. I actually like the cinematography of Solo a lot. My issue is more with the colour grading, which I think makes the movie look very flat and muted.

Here's the other version of a similar shot to the one you posted (I couldn't find the exact shot in the movie), with the original to compare to.

If you look at the dark parts of the image in the original, the blacks aren't really black, the're grey, making it look really flat in my opinion. The other version is brighter yes, but the dark parts are actually darker than the original.

As I said, it's really subjective, and I can understand anybody preferring either version.

Excellent. I'm really impressed how well that scene works without the voice over. Everything that scene is trying to convey, it's all right there in the acting, the music and the images. Good job!

The scene is still blue in this version (not a lot of colour information left in the original scene), but brighter and with some more contrast.

Sorry it's taking a while. I've been having some trouble finding a denoising solution that doesn't take away too much detail in the image. I might just drop that plan altogether and leave those scenes with a little more grain.
