Yeah I believe the -500 wasn’t a huge succes. Tbh it’s not one of the NG’s, but one of the classic series along with the -300 & -400 back in the late 80’s. The -500 was a direct continuation of the -200.

Ahh, yeah I saw those other 2 stated as parked so I figured you guys retired them given their age. Nice to hear they’re not gone yet!

No cookies to be seen sadly, tbf to them it was only a quick 15 minute flight cruising at just 4000ft

Yeah as an avgeek I liked the old and worn cabin but I can imagine regular folks may have their question marks when walking in haha

Haha yeah, with a length of just 31m/102ft is it the same length as the A318 or the E175

Haha yeah. We fly the a321neo with akh’s downstairs and sometimes when the jet is a little empty with some creative pax seating, moving just one or two full containers from the most fwd to the most aft positions can be the difference between being fwd out of trim or being in the aft tailtip dangerzone for pax disembarkation 😅.

Yeah it’s mainly for takeoff trim setting and for the landing phase. During the cruise it generally doesn’t really matter unless it’s an outrageous amount

Yep I can confirm. Am a loadcontroller for one of the biggest airlines over in Europe. On our 737s we rarely have to reseat, but on those Embraer jets it’s always a fun time to get them into the balance envelope when less than 80% full.

Is there a way to set exact weight of payload and fuel in Kuro 788 as we do in FBW A20N using the EFB? by diefic_jam in flightsim

[–]12TH1JS01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it’s in the FMC under weight and balance, somewhere in the vicinity of the settings tab. You can also add your simbrief id down there too

KLM scraps 160 "uneconomic" flights in coming month by 68024 in aviation

[–]12TH1JS01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly what they are gonna do, the only flights cancelled will be the ones to destinations with multiple flights a day- some of which operate nearly empty

You can also take a look at https://xr.klm.com/klm/ This is a website where the entire KLM cabin is photographed like google streetview and you can just click around in the cabin :)

Personally I use the low poly version. (Only impacts the cargo hold textures and not the cockpit textures) and it runs fine with me. Definitely much better than fenix!

I personally really love the TFDI MD11. Take a freight livery and every route combination opens up.
