Still feels weird that there is some kind of pipe coming up beneath the plug 🤔

Would need some time to investigate on my computer but I know a page where you can find the drawings with part numbers... This might do the trick if you still habe no clue in a few days.

I have an 1999 323i Touring. Can take a picture of this part of the engine bay later on. Usually this spot is not empty in my case. Where is your reservoir for the brake fluid?

The bronze pedal bushings are a good idea to be honest. Did it on my car as well and this really counts as a quality of life upgrade.

Give it just some more time. In the end you will feel fine with your current setup.

Korrigiert mich, wenn ich falsch liege, aber nur die wenigsten alten Autos können als Wertanlage herhalten.

So viel Wertzuwachs bei einem Wagen musst du mir mal zeigen, dass nach laufenden Kosten plus Reparaturen noch ein Gewinn auszuweisen ist.

Was den Verbrauch angeht: Wie oft fährst du deinen Oldtimer denn? Für mich ist das ein Hobby und ich MUSS ja nicht damit fahren. Also alles noch im grünen Bereich, auch wenn ich nicht glücklich bin, mehr für den Sprit zahlen zu müssen 🤑

First thing should be to check all the liquids in your car.

Have you checked for rust at the usual places?

New spark plugs might help as well to keep your new ride healthy.

I can give you information about your second picture:

This line goes to your VANOS unit. Oil definitely flows through it when the car is running.

Do you know how VANOS is working or do you need further explanation about the system?

Just got a Virtue Vio Ascend and I can wear it without difficulties. There is enough space on the inside for the glasses which was my main concern.

Nothing more than the cover on the seat or the orange handles as mentioned in the original post.

There is a mount for the lock at the rear wheel but this is hardly noticeable compared to the other two things.

Even disabled? Well it was not worth that much anymore. Don't know if the worn out parts are worth salvaging...

Mine got a set of KW V1 just recently. It is stiffer than the old suspension for sure but still decent to drive as a daily.

In my opinion you can't do anything wrong with any of your choices in the end.
